A MILLION DOLLARS FOR A POST?

I just found out that if you have a certain number of followers you GET PAID FOR EACH POST OF YOURS! So Like the Kardashian – Jenner clan gets money for their posts, Jen Anniston, and like everyone!

And its not a couple of hundred dollars… it goes to MILLIONS of dollars!

So if I get a million followers, am I going to get that too?

Anyway, if you are like me and like some sanity, then just use digital marketing methods of Instagram. It is really not that hard to bring up some followers for your business if you market it right!

Being in the Social Media management business, it is so important for me to have a tool to help use out.

Now, now I am sure you guys have heard of fancy places and tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, Edgar, blah blah blah!

But they are exactly what they are – Fancy! Buggy! Not worth the hundreds of dollars that they are asking for.. not for me at least!!

So after rumbling and tumbling everywhere, I have come to a conclusive tool – Social Champ! Now, now! Before you think I am promoting it, use your mind brakes! I am just telling my experience and trying to fight the stupid capitalism in the world.

So Social Champ starts at about $10 only. Imagine .. compare $500 to $10!

Now the question stand, does it have all the features?

Well I don’t know what all features are, but all the features that I made use of were there.

So I could schedule, organize, get hashtags, get photos and gifs, and do much more. Of course then I had the Auto RSS feature and I made use of the content suggestions feature which was my favorite.

Anyway, I am not here to gush about the features. I am here to ask a simple question, why are we supporting these mainstream ones when we have something better in less than one third the price?

Have you guys any experience like this?

Look at this keyboard Now think of the first time you used one.. or the earliest memory that you have of this keyboard. I remember thinking that if the alphabets were in perfect order it would be easier typing. However, that is not the case. I had to learn to adjust my fingers to type. I had to be fluid to make it work. I found a way... we all did Life is like a keyboard. It is all messed up. Things are not in perfect order. Having a good teacher is worth everything. I know because I've had them. But never would I be able understand that the students that I taught would have such high regards for me. I taught them about 5 years ago and they have moved away and barely have contact but they still hold such a high regard for me that I get overwhelmed. I didn't know if I could ever get more respect, except when my student surprised me with the highest honor there can ever be!! She marked my presence in the Holy Ka'aba where I haven't been as yet and where I'm dying to go! Remembering a person in front of Allah when he's listening to you is really special. I'm thoroughly in tears because they've given me an honor that I shall take to my grave!! COFFEEE! Coffee is a magic potion that makes life better than it is! But I've quit this magical drink for the better. Your body needs a dose of freshness so it's good to quit for a while even if you get back. But how do you get rid of the addition?? For me it fell on the right time. The excessive caffeine in my system (though one cup a day shouldn't be bad) started causing serious insomnia. I had just completed my masters and was on vacation so I decided to not drink it anymore. The first few days were the hardest! I couldn't get out of bed, I was cranky, I was tired, I kept sleeping. That would go away, but effort is required! So I pushed myself off the bed and made small goals to achieve daily. Small like cleaning my wardrobe, showering (yes 😂) and all those. Eventually, I started finding that energy and rush within me that I expected from caffeine. And now, I don't need it anymore!! It's been about 2 months and I've just had it in moderation that is 1 cup since then! Oh and this cup? It has green tea now! All sorts of addiction are insane and dangerous. Moderation is the key!!! Give your body a rest and quit for a while! Get back after 2 months or so if you'd like!! Some days I manage to look pretty (just for illusion though). On those days my photo obsessed sister (I'm pretty sure she has photosynthesis, geddit? 😂😂😂) goes all mamma bear on me, looking at me with tears in her eyes, pinching my cheeks, and saying 'Haye MASHALLAH itni bari hogai! Do you wanna build a snowman?? Okay I agree, it's not that cold in Karachi, BUT I FEEL COLD OKAY?? But seriously, people need to take a break in bashing people if they feel cold. And yes, winter in Karachi is a thing. There's simple science behind this theory. I've been living in Karachi since forever. My poor body needs to work hard to ensure it stays cool and alive in up to 50 degree Celsius 😨😨 so when the temperature drops to say 20 degrees, I FREEZE!!! Whoever feels cold, let them! I LOVE MY PINKS!! Sometime back, a girl from my class Wales up to me and actually asked me why I would always wear such 'bright and colorful clothes'. She didn't comment or compliment me, she ASKED me like it's the most disgusting thing in the universe. I told her that the world is a dull place and we need people like me to make it brighter and colorful. If you are one of those people that think that as a see-er you have the right to tell people what to wear, then please buzz off! The clothes are worn by the wear-er and its none of your God Damn business what anybody else wears. I wear anything that makes me comfortable and you should too. GULGULAAAYYY!!! YES! YOU READ IT RIGHT!! There's a rain delicacy called Gulgulay and they're exactly how they sound - friendly (not to the weight watchers) I remember my grandma used to make them especially in the rainy weather. I've been thinking of her since last night and been dying to make them. Of course I started them with a terrible recipe but Ma was there to save the day. Here's the recipe to these fluffballs in brief Make a sucrose solution by adding sugar and dissolving it to boiling water. Let it cool a little. Take wholemeal flour (ata) about 2 cups. Add Yeast to it (1tsp) and make a batter with the sucrose solution. Make sure the batter is not too runny. Something like pakoray will do. Leave the batter for about an hour (or half if you're as impatient as I am) for the yeast to fermentate. Mix it again and adjust the consistency with the sucrose solution. Then just feel fry them in boiling hot oil and enjoy under the rain!! @foodieshoodie this is in my kitchen today! HOW HAVE YOU BEEN MY KARACHI PEEPS!! If you've been living under a rock then you don't know that we just had a super amazing (and yet scary) thunderstorm a few hours ago. When was the last time you read a book? Well, I see many people around me getting into reading which is the best thing for the world. However, parents it's time you do your part to introduce your children to the world of reading. I see many school students that read secretly because their parents scold them otherwise. Reading course books is what they recommend but come on...Nope!! Besides making your vocabulary better and entertainment, reading helps you open your mind. It gives perspective in life which is very important. Research claims that reading helps in anxiety too, I mean why wouldn't it? It's choosing to be several characters at once!! When I taught (surprise surprise) one of my students told me that their teacher has recommended a novel (by recommended she meant enforced) but she's not interested. That's when I told her that the very novel is now her course book. Do not divert your child to a specific type of read. Recommend them books but do not enforce them. Let them read what they like.. Tu Nanga hi toh aya hai Kia ghanta lekar jaega If you haven't seen the new Gully Boy trailer the watch it now! It is supposedly a stolen concept from the Hollywood 8 miles but it looks great!! After watching the trailer, there is absolutely no one I can imagine in the role (sorry varooo 😭) If there's anyone after Varun Dhawan in Bollywood that I admire slightly that is Ranveer Singh. I mean he looks great in movies... also I love the fact that the guy is actually loaded with talent. He's in the industry on his own and established on his own!! Lets talk about this egg for a second... If you haven't hatched yet (geddit?😂) you're missing out. Someone made an account on Instagram with the sole intention of getting everybody to make this the most liked photo ever. That's not the weird part!! The weird part is that it succeeded and beat @kyliejenner who had the record for 18 million likes. This egg has over 46 million likes on Instagram and it's more than crazy. Hello my gorgeous positivists! How is today treating you so far? If you're reading this post then you are either on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter. It's 12 pm - literally midday! Why are you scrolling through your social media? Not that I mind my audience, but you are here which means that you are truly free; you are bored at work or in class, or that you need a distraction. Of course there can be other reasons too! Regardless of your reason, it's time to admit it - WE ARE ADDICTED TO OUR PHONES! Even if you don't know it, you depend on it emotionally, physically, and mentally! It's completely justified! Yes! I have actually justified your phone addiction. Researchers claim that screens are as addictive as drugs and alcohol. And since it carries our life, it is justified to be addicted. For me, My phone is my life. Even if I have no use for it, I need it in my hand or I get severe anxiety. I understand that it can be toxic so I found a loophole for my addiction. The biggest one helped me through my exams. I would take pictures of notes and books and study from the screen. Trust me, it was much easier to remember and the anxiety went down. I also like to learn alot so every time I hear a word, I Google it and voila! New stuff! My point is that there is literally nothing we can do with he addiction. #BestFriendAppreciationPost For the world she's @foodieshoodie - a successful blogger that is too pretty to be true. For me she's my Aloo Pataloo!! This post is dedicated to all the best friends that make lives better! Aliza and I met through mutuals. When life sucked for both of us in university, we bumped into each other just to find a movie scene. Our mutual love for food made us pay the most bills and attracted us to each other. I used to meet you only because I knew I could eat like a hog in front of you and not be judged 😂😂 In a series of Bollywood movie events, we bumped into each other, we were somehow brought together by mutuals, and before we knew it, we were best buds! Best friends are soooo important! This girl has been there for me on my lowest and highest days. I've seen her start from absolute zero to make foodie shoodie a brand today! And even though it's been like 4 months since we last met, we're inseparable. We're so different, yet so perfect together. Relations like these make me believe! You need to have a human that is not related to you in anyway except with your heart. Might sound cheesy but it's true. You will find solace and support in these friends.
