As some of you have probably predicted,  this post has been a long time coming.   The three of us mods are no longer able to run the verse,  due to issues out of character / irl  &  lack of muse.   We didn’t want to leave you guys hanging,  so you’ll find the list of the remaining Perfect Matches below the cut to do with as you will.   Feel free to continue write all the verse  &  post-verse things you want,  this is just us letting you know that we will no longer be modding it.   Thank you for your understanding.

in lieu of this week’s challenge,  we’ve decided to take a different approach to establishing some new connections  —  &  brewing up a hot helping of household drama.   all of the remaining unmatched contestants will be thrown into a generator,  where three different pairs will be chosen to enter the truth booth  &  find out their fate.   that’s right,  you have the chance to confirm three different matches in one night!   the pairings that will enter the truth booth will be kept under wraps until the outcomes are posted on the main,  so stay tuned for the results.   next week,  we will return to your regularly scheduled challenges,  starting with part one of exes week!   best of luck,  &  may the best match win.

CHALLENGE #2: who said that?

rules:  guys, the following quotes were submitted by all ten of your potential perfect matches.  it’s your job to decide who said what & submit your guesses to the main page by 12 pm, sunday.  the three with the most correct answers will win a getaway date with the girl of their choosing!  happy hunting!

Going into week two,  we’ve taken into account what works & what doesn’t & have decided to make a few changes to the format of the game.   For starters,  the timeline,  which was originally two weeks dash time  =  one week game time,  will now move simultaneously in real time.   We know this makes the verse a little more activity sensitive,  but we feel this adjustment will help keep things more on track,  as well as keep the verse from dragging on & getting boring.   Below,  you’ll find the updated game info,  including changes to the Challenges,  Match Ups, & Getaway Dates.   Thanks for reading!

TLDR ;  The verse will now move in real time. Challenges will be held every every weekend, Truth Booth reveals are every Wednesday, and Match Up Ceremonies will start on Thursday, going into Friday.

CHALLENGES:  Every weekend, there will be a Challenge where contestants will be able to to compete for a Getaway Date and a chance to go to the Truth Booth. Some Challenges will ask you to pair up with a prospective match, while others will be single player, with the winners able to pick whoever they want to take on the date. Challenges will he held from Saturday to Sunday on the dashboard, unless it’s a text quest, in which case further instructions will be given.

GETAWAY DATES:  The first, second, and third place winners of the weekly Challenge will get to go on a Getaway Date with the person of their choosing. Getaway Dates can either be headcanoned for efficiency, or played out via thread or chatzy. Just make sure to post a brief summary or chat log to keep the rest of us in the know about what went down! Getaway dates can be written immediately after the conclusion of the Challenge until the Truth Booth reveal on Wednesday.

THE TRUTH BOOTH: While the Challenge winners go on their Getaway Dates for some one-on-one time, a poll to see which of the winning couples will go into the Truth Booth will be posted for everyone else in the house to vote on. The couple with the most votes will then go into the Truth Booth and find out if they’re a match or not. The Truth Booth is the only way to confirm or deny a match. If a match is confirmed, that couple will leave the house and go to the Honeymoon Suite, and will automatically be paired for the remainder of the match-up ceremonies. The Truth Booth poll will be posted every Tuesday, while the results for the highest ranking couple will be revealed Wednesday afternoon.

MATCH-UP CEREMONIES: At the end of the week, a Match-Up Ceremony will be held, where either the guys or the girls will be able to “lock in” with whoever they believe their match is. Once all the matches are locked, up to 10 beams of light will tell you how many matches are sitting together, but not who those matches are. 10 for 10 is a win, but any less than that means it’s back to the drawing board until next time. If there is a blackout, meaning 0 confirmed matches, the million dollar prize will drop by 250,000 thousand dollars. The order in which contestants will get to choose who they want to lock in with will be randomly generated. Starting on Thursday, each member will be messaged in order to select their Perfect Match, a post on the main being updated by the mods each time someone is spoken for. Once all the matches are submitted, the number of confirmed matches will be announced.

Please note that the Ceremonies are meant to move rapidly,  so make sure to keep your answers brief. As much as we enjoy seeing the internal dialogue, it’s just not practical when you have to get 10 responses within a short amount of time.  Each member will have four hours after receiving their ask to answer it, with exceptions for things like work or sleep — seriously, just let us know if you need more time. If you do not answer within that time frame, your character will be skipped for the week. At the end of the ceremony, the remaining potential choices will get to choose instead. For example, if Pietro, Josh, and Felix do not answer within the time frame and Petra, Jackie, & Elena are left, Petra, Jackie, & Elena will get to choose between Pietro, Josh, and Felix.

are you gonna do more than one 'season' of this verse? like, with new characters/players?

hey!   it’s definitely an idea we’ve tossed around,  doing another season with either a new twist or having it be entirely wlw!   the verse is a lot of work to mod so we definitely want there to be some steady interest before committing to a second season,  so once this round is over we’ll give it some more thought!
