to preface: please note i drew this on my own volition and just for fun, with a few headcanons from my side, so some details (with kana, especially) may not be accurate. thank you for the understanding! this has been in my list for the longest time, i'm just happy i finally got to complete this x'D ein mentioned kana has a pretty good inventory on her person and usually keeps snacks for hibird, which pepper might just like (food is a great way to befriend someone indeed) i think kana would get hibird really nice stuff (hence the high quality sunflower seeds, it's my hc lol) when she has the chance. and pepper... for better and for worse, those eyes of his are good at eyeing the good stuff. he isn't picky, but for a digimon he knows all too well the bare minimum he deserves - he isn't stupid like most animals, he'd say. this random silly comic aside, i think kana and pepper would get along well. they have quite a bit of similarities personality-wise, i feel if they were friends in canon they'd just validate each other's point a lot... on the other hand, kurumi and elise getting along seem like a given at this point 😂 elise, if anything, is probably just concerned how kana would deal with her weird "pet" ...rip hibird's snack stock for the day... extra: a creature that makes you go hmm
