"Time" The Prophet ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said: ”Take advantage of five matters before five other matters: your youth before you become old; your health, before you fall sick; your wealth, before you become poor; your free time before you become preoccupied, and your life, before your death.” (Narrated by Ibn Abbas in the Mustadrak of Hakim & Musnad Imam Ahmad. Sahih) The whole language of this hadith points to the limited nature of our life and how time is running out. In Surah al-Rahman, verse 26, Allah (Subhanahu Wa’Tala) beautifully states ”Kullu man alaiyha faan” (All that is on earth will perish); describing the essential reality that every moment that passes is a moment that brings our death closer; our lifespan is like an upturned sand-timer and the last grain could drop soon. So the Prophet ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) reminds us to act quickly before it’s too late. So i list down a bucketlist begining with five things in mind so far... 1. Be the first Malaysian Filmmaker to won an oscar 2. Repay back all the good deeds that my parents have bestow upon me 3. See the world for what its worth 4. Find the truth on whatever it may be 5. Build an empire for future legacy

31st August 1957 Happy 57 years of Independence Day, may peace and harmony and hopefully everlasting longevity for us to enjoy our natural heritage, diversity, for the upcoming celebration.  But always remember that our endless prayers & assistance extends to those who are less fortunate also the one who are waiting for us in a far away place, in the name of unity, we are a young nation so no more complaining about bullshit from the past to be brought into the present day. Be grateful to forgive and forget in order to achieve blissfulness.

#MalaysiaBerkabung

Yesterday our nation stand tall and united, hope for the best till the very end that we shall get through this together. Tears of joy were shown and sorrow been heard, to those you love so dearly, has finally return back so clearly we’ve seen.

What a wonderful sight, everyone is together bathing each other with love and kindness to one another, helping hands that are always available to aid for those in pain.

To my muslim brothers i wish you #Takziah with the touch of #Alfatihah and Yasin by your side, and to my non-muslim friends i wish my deepest condolences for your losses, i urge that all of you to be strong, honoring those which are far away from us, by always shelter them with prayers, bear in mind that this place which they are all heading, is the best flights coming from #MH17 & #MH370 a paradise only we can ever imagine, be calm and wise about it, and forever watch each others back not just for show but with more empathy, finally reminding you all, to stop mourning and get back up, remembering their memories as if like they never left, rather than mourn for goodbyes, their spirit lay in peace deep down within you, apart of you till the end of time, dont you forget it. Live life to the fullest.

May #Allahblessyouall and may God punish the nay sayers with furious anger in justice for all.

☆INTRODUCTION

Hello and welcome, my name is Azlan Akbar, Im a film graduate in video & animation also currently persuing my bachelors in Interactive Multimedia and i want to become a profesional film-maker.

■As a reminder, Im making this page as part of my diary so that my mind will always be busy with ideas.

1.What was your favorite food when you were a child?

• hmmm…let me see, when come to food I dont really have any fav, its because i like em all. Not everything, only the good one such as my mom chicken Kurma, devil curry chicken, spaghetti bolognese & Carbonara, my aunt’s sambal daging *available only during Raya festive season, and the list goes on, there is a lot to choose from, and the menu always changes whenever everytime people ask me that question.

2.What’s the #1 most played song on your mp3 player?

•The song that is still trap deep within my mind will be Trivium - No way to heal & strife from “Vengeance Falls” album

3.What is one of your favorite quotes?

•If there is a way, lets find it (thanks to my dennis the menace poster potrait that i got from my best bro Muz, if i did not say ” I want it ” that poster will be match sticks.

4.What’s your favorite indoor/outdoor activity?

•Indoor: watch movies, listen to music, surf the net, videogames, sleeping, reading, painting, multimedia

•Outdoor: Skateboarding, exercising, (anything dangerous or extreme that can make me out of breath)

5.What chore do you absolutely hate doing?

•If i say im hating it, i will be lying to myself… Dont like doing as much as i should will be, watering the plants in my mom’s garden, cutting the grass .

•Skateboarding & martial arts

•Always 18, young wild and free..haha

•Alot of Prayers and than doing stuff that i have not do such as Base jumping(Any sorts of jumping activities), Scuba diving, Race in F1 circuit, ride a jet, etc…

•Past! I Just wanted to see how everything trully exist

•Produce and directed my first feature film

•I safe the world from all its insufficiency

•I really want to see my original parents, plus my siblings. Neither way im still bless by having 2 sets of parents, to the past i bid you Rest in peace, now without my current family, i dont think i will be alive and well.

•Build me a film production empire

•Im just going to answer a Lion, because my name is Azlan and it means a Lion, did not have any specific what so ever.

•I just want to find out who runs this earth besides god, along the way uncover the organization which hold responsible, way superior than the government.

•Django, i dont know why cuz thats the first thing that pops out from my head, while written this.

•My family and relatives said i have the looks to be become one, but none mention about look alike

27.What do you want to be when you grow up?

•Growing up, i dont really have an ambittion, i stumble a cross arts and design also film-making by chance really, that time i was just finishing high school and its not something i discover and train by myself since small or whatever. I begin to appreciate it when i start my diploma, but i did practice a bit of arts and film, just doing it for fun just to see the outcome from it all, I am a naive kid, capturing a man walking down the street i make it as an accomplishment, recording my friends and family become a hobby. i see it as...freedom, even tho at the time i dont really know what not to do and must do, yet again there are no rules in art only a guideline to craft a masterpiece.

28.When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time?

•haha, smoke a jay while surf the net and find any crazy shit, to keep it simple, every 30 mins is a random one.

29.What would you name the autobiography of your life?

•Khaos Chronicles of Death

31. Have you ever had something happen to you that you thought was bad but it turned out to be for the best?

•Breaking up with my 30 year old ex and differ my degree studies for a year

32. What was one of the best parties you’ve ever been to?

•best parties, will be #throwback 2011 2012 with the late Yuki Miyasaka #RIP brotha, 1 party is during halloween, all of us SJ Fam (skateboarding crew) head over to changkat street in KL to get hammered, but in the end i end up switching my cap with one of my friend, 2nd and 3rd one will be all out skatepark night outdoor BBQ party,lots of people loads of beer and killer weed Fcuking awesome !

33.What was the last movie, TV show or book that made you cry or tear up?

•Movies - remember me , man of steel, and some channing tatum flick totally forgot the name .

34.What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done?

•being focus and listening to people o what to do

35.What was the last experience that made you a stronger person?

•I think from my last break-off , because she is the only person who acknowledge my flaws also pointed out which and which in order for to be better , from the whole experience i'll say is an eye opener.

36.What did you do growing up that got you into trouble?

•Skipping classes and almost get kick off from the University

37.When was the last time you had an amazing meal?

•I think it was 3 weeks ago, when the first time i eaten Texas chicken for the first time,near my condo.

38.What’s the best/worst gift you’ve ever given/received?

•Im bad with gifts especially during birthdays, so the worst thing to do will be not giving em presents, plus at that time i constantly run out of money

39. What do you miss most about being a kid?

•Everything man, my bicycle, saturday morning cartoons, mighty morphing power rangers, TMNT, Robocop, star wars, jurassic park, no responsibilities, fun all day everyday 😆😆😆

40.What is your first memory of being really excited?

•first time riding an airplane back when i was small ___________________________________________________________

•i treat my family dominos pizza, a skateboard, jason vorhees and brandon lee "The crow" figure, tech decks plus skateparks set, birthday presents

42.When was the last time you were nervous?

•Back in 2012, presenting an idea also showcasing the final product to a clients, that year consider to be the worst nervous breakdown i ever felt.

43.What is something you learned in the last week?

•I learned that going off for a vacation really does change your life, see im the type who cannot leave his work alone, im focus till my stomach feels empty.

44.What story does your family always tell about you?

•My mom always tell stories about me gone missing whenever we went to the mall, always being safe by hot beautiful sales promoter (no joke #truestory)

45.At what age did you become an adult?

•I dont know, i feel the same since schooling years

•Yes, because any subject matter that you see in a canvas, photograph or any form of media, will be elaborate by imagination that you yourself experience within your sub-concious, other people might have one or three words, only you alone can describe till a thousand, it is important for you to stick with your own point of view and ideas since there is no right and wrong in a single picture.
