Like I fully believe that Abed accidentally hurt Troy in the arm wrestling match but "you broke my hand you bastard" then he's using it just fine in the next scene. He didn't break shit Troy you're so dramatic (affectionate). You know maybe the inconsistency about whether he faked his football injury or not is just that he was injured but he inadvertently exaggerated it and then couldn't go back on it without looking bad
