This is not a theory, I'm genuinly asking, but in my translation of the books the only two people who call their mother "ma" are Haymitch and Sejanus. Is this true for the english version? And if so, do you think it's a coincidence or deliberate? They're from totally different districts and still share this one dialactal word.

At the very least, if people can theorize that burdock is lucy grays son just because they both can sing (there are many people who can sing) this is just as much of a sign that theres some kind of relation between sejanus and haymitch

I don't cry easily to books but this book made me a wreck!! Here are my almost cried moments:

1. just knowing that Willamae, Sid and Lenore weren't going to be there at the end made the beginning of the book really difficult to not cry to.

2. "Oh! Wiress and mags!" *remembers why I love wiress so much and how she dies in catching fire* Oh..

3. When mags hugs Haymitch while he's crying it really made me emotional because he explains he cries easily when someone dies, how much he cares about others and the contrast to how he is later when we meet him in the hunger games book

4. "Oh Beetee has a son how nice!" *remembers beetees son is in the hunger games that I already know haymitch is winning* Oh..

5. Lou Lou creeped the fuck out of me and almost made me cry too

6. Amperts death. It was such a shock, one second he was there and the other he's a skeleton

7. Wellies death, this I was so close to crying you guys I was dying on the inside. She almost made it and then BAM the most gruesome thing for haymitch to see

8. Haymitch being tortured by the tv was devastating.

9. Snows farewell to Haymitch. I wish Katniss had shot that bastard instead of being so clever

10. Haymitchs friends going on the train with him

11. You know what happens after that I don't even need to say it

12. You know this one too.

And what finally made my dam break and I started crying (I didn't read it in english so this is a translation):
