Treat canon like gospel. Treat canon like a dumpster fire. Only read/write/art coffeeshop AUs. Decide your corner will be all hurt no comfort. Decide your corner  will be all fluff no angst.

Fandom isn't one size fits all, and there is no one right way to do it. So find what works for you, and don't worry about all of the outside noise. It doesn't matter how everyone else does fandom.

To anyone recovering from past DPH abuse: I'm proud of you for getting off of those terrible pills. You and I know what kind of hell you were putting yourself through and I'm so glad that's not your life anymore. I support you and please feel free to talk to me about it. I can't say I'll always be able to relate, but I'll listen.

To anyone currently doing DPH: I support you just as much. I'm sorry you're in a place where living through a dissociative hallucinatory nightmare is preferable to a clearer head. I really hope you find a way to live without DPH someday. Until then, please istay as safe as you can. Using during the day tends to be less horrifying than using at night. Choline supplements will protect your brain. Never ever take any more than a gram at once. I'm here to listen to you too.

I think source separation and enjoying your source and even having a hyperfixation or special interest on your source, can exist at the same time.

You can recognize yourself and understand yourself as an alter, and enjoy your source at the same time. Finding comfort and liking source content does not take away from the source separation - after all, why would an introject split if the source wasn't any form of importance to the system?

The same way that anyone else enjoys it, introjects can as well.

I've seen to many introjects get harrassed and called unhealthy for simply enjoying a book or a show, or a youtuber. I've also seen people get fakeclaimed over this.

Unsure if I've worded this correctly, but I'm hoping people understand my point.
