headcanon of mine. for whatever reason, casey could not figure out how donnie was his uncle at first. it just didn't compute.

so then there'd be all these familliar titles, and then Donatello.

Omg what if he thought Donnie was just like the babysitter 🤣 like yes my uncles are turtles. And also my babysitter is a turtle. What do you mean they're related?

I actually headcanon Casey Sr is really big on manners so she lit sat down her infant and tried to get him to say "Leonardo", "Donatello", and "Michelangelo" 🤣

Leo insisted on being "Tio Leo" and purposefully would call himself that when around Casey Jr so in the end Casey Sr couldnt un-teach it

Donnie was so down to be "Donatello" but Junior couldn't say it 😭 his brothers kept calling him "Dee" so eventually Junior picked up on that can he became "Uncle Deedee". Which is hilarious bc thats such a cute innocent name and the guy its attached to is full of murderous rage

Im constantly going back and forth on what he would end up calling Mikey bc Michelangelo is five syllables long he would have so much trouble. They try "Michel" and "Mike" but everyone else on the base calls him "Mikey". They try "Angelo" but thats still three syllables. Im thinking he makes a baby sound like "ahng" and everyone jumps on it like "can you say Angie?! Say Angie!"

Raph was Pa or Papa bc i will die on the hill that Senior wanted Junior to have a father-figure and asked Raph to do it. He died when Junior was young though so he simply became "Dad" as Junior got older like as in "oh yeah, my dad loved that" or "your dad always used to say..."

Senior was "Ma" because they were trying to get him to say "Mama" but he always refused to do the second syllable 😂

And April was like "im Auntie A! Its fun and easy to say" but everyone was always like "go ask Auntie April" so her full name ended up in there
