Bring a friend (or five) to #SaraBonStageit
We are a few days out from the amazing Sara Bareilles performing on Stageit to benefit the Playing For Change Foundation! Leading up to the show, we've had a few generous fans write in requesting to "gift" tickets to friends for the event, and we are glad to assist with that. In fact, we'd like to reward a lucky user who gifts a ticket for friends with a brand new, never before seen Stageit t shirt!
The winner will be chosen at random. For each ticket you gift, you will receive one entry. If you would like to get your giftin' on, simply email [email protected] with your username, your friend's username and the amount of notes you'd like to transfer for the ticket. We will take care of it and get back to you.
Contest will end Sunday evening at midnight Pacific Time. Thank you for supporting the PFC cause and bringing some friends to the show! Remember, the more tickets you gift, the more entries you get. And make sure your friends buy you lunch sometime!
Use #SaraBonStageit to join the convo on Twitter!

Last night we had the honor of hosting an incredible show from Kris Allen, who's fans took to Twitter and helped #krisallenonstageit become a top trend in the US. Not only that, but to trend between #fakedarkknightspoiler and #cheatingisokif? What more could we ask for?!?
Huge thank you to Kris Allen, Music Empowers and all our users for another great Stageit event!

We love our artists here at Stageit, and you know we always have your back. But now, we also have your calves! That's why the first 50 performers to put up a show that takes place in June or July and email us the link will receive these beauties absolutely free from your good friends here at Stageit.com!
(Stageit is in no way affiliated with Sock Pockets. We just liked the product and thought it would be cool to share with our artists.)

Tips For Tips
When an artist signs up for Stageit and schedules their first performance, they often have questions about how to get the most out of the show and how to set it apart from any other experience fans could have. We've seen plenty of interesting stuff work, and it's worth noting that a lot of these have also helped increase show revenues. While different methods work for different artists with different fan bases, one thing that has consistently helped (especially as of late) has been performers rewarding their "top tippers" with unique and personal gifts. Just think, a fan probably won't get fun gifts like these while you're playing a set at a venue and they certainly aren't included with an iTunes download. Not even the deluxe editions! Over the past month, we have noticed that the shows where we encouraged artists to do giveaways to top tippers increased total show revenue by as much as 300%. Artists gave out autographs, postcards from the road, personal phone calls, the shirts off their back (I hope he washed it first...) and even offered to shave off excessive facial hair on camera. Sounds crazy, but the more creative you are, the more successful you could be. Just ask one artist who passively mentioned needing a new laptop, resulting in fans responding with an outpouring of tips, all for the chance to get that one-of-a-kind experience of receiving a personal gift while helping one of their favorite artists reach a goal. These are all experiences that will keep your fans engaged and tuning into every Stageit show you do in the future. These are also experiences that should keep them engaged in the content you'll be creating throughout your career!
