Meanwhile my days were coming to an end of my Trans journey. So I had few days left and somehow wanted to keep myself up with something nearby only. And then came this which turned the most beautiful part of this journey. The entire group was amazing. Guys were super enthusiast and they kept on motivating each other be it the first one or the last one. I was asked to lead Kedarkantha trek for a group which was not mine (@adventurediariesco is my group where I lead and organise personal and regular adventures) This shot was captured while my fellow trekkers were falling left and right into the fresh snow as it was getting difficult to keep the balance. One of many forts which was meant for ancient commercial trade route protection is Hadsar Fort. Marvelous sculpture design and the carved monolithic structure of the fort entrance is something which makes this fort more beautiful. The steps are cut out of the rock. Number of forts like Chavand, Naneghat, Shivneri, Bhairavgad, and Jivdhan can be seen along with Manikdoh Dam. There are two ways to reach the top. One is southern gate which is easy and comfortable to go and the other is north entrance which also provides natural cut rocks to hold and climb up. 2021 is a year with lots of hope for everyone irrespective to businesses, adventures, personal growth, professional growth and what not. But for me I want to take this year more slow than what had been prior. Just living one day at a time will be my thing. No wanting and waiting for anyone and anything, just doing the things at that particular moment and living with it what you have. 2020 taught me the best lessons of my life. I would say it was one of the best year I had irrespective to see things, learning from elders about discipline in life, environment, education, and understanding their prospective about today and the generation coming ahead. Happy International Mountain Day 🏔️ . Great things are done when men and mountain meet. But I see the other side more now. Worst things are more often done when men meet the mountains now. In 2016 a report said we humans have destroyed a tenth of Earth's wilderness in 25 years by blowing up mountains, drilling, deforesting and using and throwing plastics everywhere. ... Growing infrastructure and development is also one of the major reason I believe which has brought both good and bad. People living in the cities have started understanding the worth of this and are trying to save what they have now. There are many NGOs and group who are planting and taking care of mother earth but on the other hand a person living on the mountains wants the development and everything like city on the mountains. Deforestation is on parr. And amidst all this mountains are the falling victim to this widespread development across the world. ... None of us can stop this development but as an individual we can definitely contribute to some part of it. We can definitely educate someone if any one of us hit and see this happening. Ride to Mahalunge Hinjewadi Golden Bridge. Read at someone's blog it is not about the location it is about illusion. .... Well that's upto the one seeing or visiting this place. So I came here with a thought that it is near Hinjewadi the roads would be neat and clean and it would be a fast short ride and will escape the showers. But it was totally opposite to my expectations. The roads are full muddy, crazy off road with potholes and the most important thing the bridge is closed. Some local guy told me the bridge is in very bad condition which led to an accident of a kid and he fell into the river. Since then it is officially closed untill the repair is done. .... But the ride was just awesome. Cool breeze, clouds, fog everything was just perfect. I just loved every bit of it. Swipe the pictures to see the fun off roads gave me from top to bottom😂😂 and that too with the mud guards. . When I look back past six and half months . First two months (Jan and Feb) - #hiking, #cycling and #climbing sessions full of energy and power. Made myself more stronger than I used to be💪🚴‍♀️🧗 . Third month (March) - Continued with hiking and cycling for half of the month and did few long routes on cycle after #workfromhome started 😁. And the good-bye to summer night treks. Started with #yogaeveryday as lockdown was imposed . Fourth Month (April) - Memories of my last year summer hikes were nostalgic and I kept on jumping at home with all the equipment I had to not loose the fitness. Invested all my time into #slackline and got a good hold on it. Dreamt of walking on #highline soon . Fifth Month (May) - Cribbed about the summers are gone as they use to be my favourite months for hikes in #Sahyadris. Spent more and more time on slackline and yoga practices. Started with online dance classes (punjabi) to add some more fun. Did few routes on MTB end of the month as it was almost two months I did not step outside. . Sixth Month ( June) - Came back home and had my Covid test twice ( log ek baar ni karwa re humne do baar karwaya hai) 🤣. Back to basics after ages #kheti #gharkisabji #gharkaatta #farming #villagelife #quarantined for 14 days. Institutional plus home. I kept my yoga practices on and watched #Dhauladhars each day. It was an easy way for me to escape back. There are routes leading to many major regions and hikes but than I said no. It's a no for everyone than why me? Back to basics kehto me ghumo and kheto me ugaao. . Seventh Month (July) - Climbed nearby areas which are allowed by the government. Thought life kaisi hoti agar Covid na hota. Khana banate banate and yahi sochte sochte 7th month b nikal ra hai. Bore ho gaya ab. Koi banda kitna kha sakta hai or kitna soch sakta hai. Uski bhi ek limit hai. . Bahut khana bana liya pata chal gaya duniya k sare chefs ka talent mere me hi hai. But ab bas ho gi hai. Normal routine chahie jo tha pehle. Aram se kahi bhi jao kuch bhi khao kahin bhi beth jao. Jane kahan gaye wo din🙄 . Sapne abhi b barkarar hai..
