Atsuko was born August 5th, X802 and is Natsu and Lucy's third child.

She's a fire dragon slayer like Natsu! (In my headcanons dragon slayer magic is more like a genetic trait because of how much it changes the body and there's about a 50% chance of inheriting it)

I'm thinking personality wise she's a lot like Natsu but she's definately got some of Lucy's personality in there. Her mannerisms are a pretty even mix of her parents. She's outgoing and friendly but can be kind of explosive when she gets frustrated and is pretty impulsive. (Definitely was the nightmare child that comes after the calm baby.) She's a really good storyteller (just like her mom ❤️❤️❤️) Kids love listening to her stories.

She's pretty short lol. A little shorter than Lucy, about the same height as Levy.

I'm not sure how I want her and Merry to meet yet. At first I went with Atsuko finding an egg like how Natsu did and hatching it but I might do something different. They are both children when they meet though.

When she was younger she went through a period of time where she desperately wanted to go on tougher jobs but wasn't old enough to go by herself so she would beg the older mages to take her with. However, she is her father's daughter and would ask to go on the higher ranking quests, and the others would always tell her no. She did this enough times that when someone finally did let her go on a higher ranked quest she just kind of stopped and was like "I didn't think I'd get this far"

The first time she participated in the Grand Magic Games there was an event where you had to give your best battle cry. Atsuko ended up blowing away the competition by doing the same kind of yell Natsu did when he fought Cobra. (Poor Erik was having flashbacks the whole time.)

After the main plot of my next gen au happens Atsuko decides to travel Ishgar, coming and going from Fairy Tail for almost two decades before she decides to come back to Magnolia for good.

During that time she briefly joined a circus.

It took me THREE DAYS to figure out her name. I could not figure it out for the life of me (her older sister was the same way, but her older brother and younger sister's name came to me immediately)

That's all I want to say for now! There's definitely more but it's kind of plot revelant so I'm not sure how much I want to reveal just yet! I'd love to write a fic series or do a comic series but my motivation comes and goes pretty easily so we'll see what happens. Who knows maybe I'll end up doing something.
