What happened at the Singapore airport

I went to the Jongin tag recently and saw many asks about this and some misunderstanding. I saw some people were saying he’s being ‘arrogant’ for asking why are people touching him at that time and I don’t understand how one can say that.

From this vid, you can hear he was asking “왜날만질까?” (why are they touching me?) and the wording ‘ㄹ까’ at the end that he used suggested that he was talking to himself, something like you say in your head or alone when you’re talking to yourself, so it wasn’t directed to the fans at all.

Another thing is that he said ‘만질까’. If in that situation where he’s touched by people he doesn’t know personally and if he used the word 만지다, it can’t be his arm or hand, it should be at least his butt or it wasn’t a simple touch. The word is very sexual. It should be considered a harassment and instead of flipping out and lashing on fans, all he did was talking to himself, ‘wait, why are people touching me’.. which showed how nice he was the way he just laughed it off and that’s why it hurts us fans who watched the video even more.

Even in that situation where he was the one swarmed by fans and got pushed, he saw a fan fell down and asked if she is okay. All he said the whole time was “wait/just a second..” repeatedly instead of getting mad or tell others to stop. He has been way too polite, he was too nice..

Feeling sorry for what happened, a fan brought a board to the concert saying “we are really sorry for yesterday at the airport”

He saw the board, took a time to read and with a smile he said, “ 괜찮아, 괜찮아” (it’s okay, it’s okay).

(also I gotta say don’t blame on the Singaporean fans, it’s mostly the fans who flew in from other countries and waited at the arrival area)

I’m just writing this just because I couldn’t stand people saying how he was being ‘arrogant’ or things like ‘just because he’s an idol doesn’t make him better than anyone else’ just because he was asking why people are touching him.. let me stress again, it wasn’t a normal touch and he wasn’t directing it to the fans. He said ‘it’s okay’ with a smile because Kim Jongin is that kind hearted but who knows whatever he felt at that time at the airport. So from my post I just hope people can see how the kind of person he is from this situation..

Political deep integration continues apace. The Liberal government is in the process of passing an extraordinary piece of legislation, C-23, which effectively cedes Canadian sovereignty to U.S. border officials.

Under this Bill, expected to pass shortly, Canadians can be held for interrogation by U.S. border guards at airports, even if we decide we’ve had enough hostile questioning about our religion, political views, social media habits, or mode of dress, and decide to stay in Canada after all. If we try to get up and leave at that point, or decide we don’t want to answer more questions, we will be breaking Canadian law, and liable for arrest, conviction and imprisonment. Meanwhile, Canadian border officials in American airports will now have the right to prevent Canadian permanent residents from boarding an aircraft.

At a stroke, what we assumed were basic civic rights are being whisked away by the Trudeau government. American authorities will be able to detain Canadian citizens on Canadian soil, and the Liberals are making it a crime for us to refuse to co-operate. And just as American green-card holders are being harassed and blocked at U.S. airports, so Canada is now following suit against its own permanent residents, who – until now – had the unfettered right to enter Canada.

Pre-clearance has, of course, been a convenient way of entering the U.S. Better to be refused here than have to pay your way back from there. But this new law will apply, as noted, even to Canadians who change their minds about traveling to the U.S. after getting a taste of the Orange Era from a sneering American immigration official. It’s worth reiterating: you won’t just be able to walk away. You will remain under American authority, in Canada, and if you resist or refuse to answer an American interrogator’s questions, you can be prosecuted – by Canada.

This may seem to some like small potatoes. Most Canadians don’t fly to the U.S. Most who do are unlikely to be harassed at the border. But it is wrong, I think, to dismiss this move so easily. Giving Americans the right to detain Canadians on our own land, and subjecting the latter to prosecution if we fail to comply, is a significant break from the past. Does anyone believe that U.S. pressure will stop there and that more concessions won’t be made?

Trudeau’s grinning performance in Washington, strong handshake and all, was really a gesture of obeisance. It was a dutiful visit to the court of the mad king. He will sound tough on trade issues for domestic consumption, and try to recover his shining mantle after his dismal performance of late, but he is what he is: little more than a satrap, not the leader of a sovereign nation. Just watch him.

SERIOUS COMPETITION EXO Ls

Anyone at the top of their game will always have someone qualified that challenges their position. EXO and BTS are both super talented hard working groups (technically almost all kpop groups). My point is as an EXO L, BTS Is threateningly rising (congrats ARMYs i am impressed). My point we need to promote EXO more and work harder for them because at this rate they might surpass EXO.

1. promote them in the comments i know most of you are against this and so was I, but it works. One way ARMYs shone the spotlight on BTS. Either way it’s how many promote.This is a very important step.

2. like all official EXO Mvs (yes it matters).

3. Stream whenever you can not just during award show season (FYI you can plug in headphones and stream without listening to the song).
