it's actually a .2 deduction for "excessive chalk use" meaning they don't want to see handprints etc on the floor. there is no rule right now for chalk use on beam but we can only assume that's coming too

Since we may never get to see this again; Chalk-ography by AJ Jackson. For those of you that don’t know it is now a .2 deduction for the use of chalk as a “prop”. AJ’s puff of chalk last was probably my favorite. It went with the music and was really unexpected when I first saw it. inspired by @sparklesandchalk‘s banner image

Janette Antolin probably had one of the best laided out Jeagers. She actually showed an open hip position (arch) rather than just a singular straight body like most girls do. She had such a dynamic swing too. Its a shame that she was from the “dark ages” of USA Gymnastics and never really got the appreciation she deserved.
