are you still working on Year of The Rat ?

(I'm just using your ask to address this question because I've recieved it a lot. Don't want you to think I'm calling you out specifically)

I want folks to know I've thought long and hard about this. But ultimately I had to come to the conclusion to put Year of the Rat on a hiatus until further notice.

Unfortunately, there are aspects of that fic and oc's I've made that feature in our comic Ratterrock. These are characters that play major roles in both the fic and the comic. If I were to work on the fic I could be spoiling parts of the comic. And for me, making an original story that's my own and Suzie's is much more of a priority. It's important to me that I own the characters and stories that I put a lot of time and effort into.

I love the fic a lot don't get me wrong, but I don't want to hurt the integrity or the mystery of the comic. Suz and I have worked so long and hard on Ratterrock, I don't want to waste that effort or cheapen payoffs because of the fic.

I am sorry to disappoint readers, and I do understand if my original work is not what you are here for. But if you enjoy the same dark elements, mystery, and yes even smut, Ratterrock has all of that and I get to draw it!

One day maybe when Ratterrock is done I'll return to it, but as of right now it's not something I have the time or desire to finish.
