i understand this is ENTIRELY too niche and i will never write it because there would be such a slim minority who would understand but marching band au where lottie plays mallets (marimba, vibraphone, xylo, bells) and nat is the cunty bass player that got dragged into front ensemble as an elective to straighten out her bad behavior.

lottie is getting so fucking good on mallets that she's considering drum corps and nat thinks it's sooooo hot.

Shauna so badly needed someone to understand the pain she went through, to share it with her, to be able to grasp what she endured for the sake of the group. But when the moment finally came, Shauna still held back, shielding Nat from the full weight of it, even though no one had ever done the same for her.

Anyone else think that s4 is gonna be really fucking dark and bleak ? Like in terms of tonality and in terms of the content itself?

Think about it, Mari has just gotten brutally murdered and has been cannibalized, nat will come back and realize what had happened, rescue doesn’t come for them until months later, more people will die to get the survivor count down to 8 and maybe the whole group will collectively lose their minds because they believe rescue isn’t coming, and not to forget Lottie’s catatonia may start out in the wilderness. It could start the moment they are rescued but there is a possibility we’ll see a slow descent into that sate of being. And just the possibility of rescue in general and all that would come with it; the trauma, the ptsd, the medical issues and evaluations, ect. I know that some people say rescue won’t happen in s4 and will happen in 5, but we don’t know if there will be a five for sure.

All that is just the teen timeline, the adult timeline I feel like will be just as dark. Misty and Tai are probably going to actually try and take out Shauna; and for Shauna herself, I feel like her storyline in the adult tl is gonna get really dark and messy. She’s now lost the only thing that was sort of holding her down into to “normalcy”, but now with her family gone, and Shauna writing that note in the finale about how she had fun in the Wilderness and how she was alive doing those things in the wilderness, I feel like She’ll fall back into those ways of her younger self. The pure violence and blood lust will come back and she’ll be completely lost in it.
