What an awesome project!
Oh, the places we'll go!
We’re getting closer and closer to our NYC: Part 2 project launching this summer!  Our student photographers will take their cameras to the streets of New York during our photojournalism course-  where would YOU like to see them go? We’d love to hear your suggestions for potential field trips and off-site activities for our next group of amazing student photographers! http://100cameras.org/ Photo by Emmanuel Afolabi in Brooklyn.

Over that past 5 years, we have donated over $50,000 to over 250 nonprofits, and it's all thanks to the generosity of our amazing customers. December is our biggest donation month, and we were thrilled to donate over $3600 to 25 nonprofits for our 2013 holiday season, AND covered ALL 15 cause categories!  Below are the nonprofits we donated to for December 2013:
Animal Causes: Picasso Veterinary Fund, Blue Voice
Arts Cause: Free Arts for Abused Children
Children Cause: Change for Kids, Ray Project, Abada Capouera SF
Community Cause: Intersection for the Arts
Disaster Relief Cause: Save the Children: Philippines
Economic Development Cause: Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship
Education Cause: New Jersey SEEDS
Environment Cause: Project U.S.E.
Hunger Cause: Project Bread
Health Cause: AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts
Human Rights: Enduring Pride
International Cause: International Myeloma Foundation, Peter Boyle Memorial Fund
Veterans Cause: Hugs Project Incorporated
Women Cause: Wilkins Avenue Assessment Center
Young Philanthropy: She's the First
We also had the great pleasure to support the American Cancer Society, St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, City Harvest, Wounded Warrior, Pat's Place, Imagine It! Children's Museum, Wichita Habitat for Humanity, and Atlanta Youth Project.
December’s highest earning causes were Hunger, Animals, and Children. We love to hear suggestions for specific charities, and we carefully choose recipients based on customers' input.
Holiday top sellers were gingersnaps, peppermint brownies, and Snapshot cookies. Yum! Make your New Years Resolution to continue to give the gift that keeps on giving--a little sugar goes a long way.
