Love Your Body

Lots of girls struggle with accepting and loving the body they have. Recently a 'friend' who had been mean to me for over a year, came and had a chat. She was lovely. So kind, funny and caring, I remembered why we were friends in the first place. The weird thing was, I hadn't changed in any way. But she had.

She had lost 11 kilograms.

Suddenly she was happy with herself and, in turn, happy with others.

It made me so sad to think of the time we wasted NOT being friends because of this. And the time I wasted wondering what I had done wrong in our friendship when the answer was NOTHING.

This is when I realised, sometimes we ruin relationships and friendships simply because of the way we feel about ourselves. And this is not ok.

A big part of our goals is to help EVERYBODY feel positive about themselves, regardless of shape, weight, size or any other physical feature. The physical body does not define who you are or how you treat others. And if someone is mean to you about your body, that says more about them than about you.

You can be happy at any size.

How you present yourself will also influence your mood. Buy clothes you actually enjoy wearing and feel great in. Don't wait for that diet to be over or transformation to occur one future day. Start today with a small positive step.

You are precious, so love & appreciate every moment you have.
