I will talk about obscure stuff others might not care about. Just laying it out there.

Man. I like it when internet animations featuring the funny TV game show man use audio from the other funny TV game show man. It makes me chuckle warmly to myself.

Lately, I can't help but say "pingas" to myself at random intervals of the day.
At least it's to myself in private and not in conversation with others (not that i converse a lot with others anyways), but still.
Have I just consumed too much YTP or something? I haven't even watched any Robotnik poops lately.

You know, something that just came to me: the "touhou" in Touhou Project is Japanese for "eastern" and the "seihou" in Seihou Project means "western". This implies the existence of a northern Hoppou Project and a southern Nanpou Project as well. Perhaps even a central Chuuhou/Nakahou Project to tie them all together, given how Japanese cardinal directions work and all that.
Two-to-three series of bullet hell games that should exist, but just... don't. I wonder if they'll ever be made one day. Or... maybe they already have been, and are simply lost. Lost in the sands of times, waiting for an intrepid historian to come across them.

YOOO.
YO GUYS.
LOOK.

It's the BOOOOYS. Back at it again from the Fantasy Zone once again. It's our favorite PTSD-ridden spaceship and his little brother who's guilty of massive bank account fraud.
(Oh, there's also some monkeys and Roman centurions in the game as well, but this ain't about them.)

Hol up... is this for real? Batadon and Tokotoko? In a track seemingly set in a part of Sarasaland? Are they really pulling stuff from Super Mario Land for the new Mario Kart game?
Hmm... I wonder...

My favorite rip from the recent SiIvaGunner album release. I remember coming across the original song ages ago, and when I heard this in the 2-and-a-half-hour long upload, I just felt a wave of joyous nostalgia wash over me. To this day, I've never actually played TF2, so most of my enjoyment of the game came from community-made content like this.
Godspeed to you, RubberFruit, wherever you are.

Bentley Jones (real name Lee Brotherton) is an English musician who has contributed a few tracks to the Sonic series, their most popular piece being "Dreams of an Absolution", Silver's theme in his debut game Sonic '06, as well as "So Much More..." from Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing. While they are no longer work on the franchise in any official capacity, they're still an avid enough fan of said franchise, having made numerous covers of other songs as well as doing the final boss theme for the fangame Sonic Omens. And, as of November of 2024, they also have their very own Sonic OC.
This is Ozkar Onyx Wylde, a hedgehog from the same future timeline as Silver who loves to learn about the distant past through whatever ancient artifacts he comes across during his travels. One day, he comes across a strange looking machine... one that we would call a microphone. With Silver's help via the use of Chaos Control, Ozzy is able to use said microphone to send his own music back in time for us to hear, whether they be wholly original compositions or future-spun classics, such as this remix of "Live and Learn" from Sonic Adventure 2.
The design of the character feels very evocative of early Sonic OCs, almost looking like a slightly edgier take on Silver himself, and I kinda like it for that. Only thing I don't care for is how detailed his muscles are, but maybe that's just part of the style of the artist Bentley commissioned this art from. Nevertheless, it'd be interesting to see how this character is used in the future.

So I found this parody account on Twitter that is RPing Charmy Bee from Sonic, and they have a Strawpage associated with the account, so for a bit of fun, I sent them this little drawing of Charmy (not based on the game design, but rather his original Shogakukan manga design). They liked it, and honestly, I did too, mainly for being a drawing I did on a touchscreen that doesn't look like ass, so I'm putting if here for y'all to see.

Just checked on the wiki, and it turns out these humanized redesigns were reused when in an issue of CLAMP School Detectives when the creators of the book decided to talk about their favorite video games at the time, one of them being Sonic CD. It can be kind of hard to tell with Amy and Metal Sonic given how dark they are in this panel, but that'd definitely the same humanized Sonic design from CLAMP in Wonderland. Since these designs were used outside of a doujin, could they perhaps be considered official depictions of the characters as humans?
Did you know? CLAMP (Yes, THOSE CLAMP) drew humanized versions of Sonic the hedgehog characters back in 1994!
Something I find really funny is how Eggman still looks like Eggman… You can’t better perfection.
Anyways, here’s my take on those dessigns, and gave them some color.
Here are the references I used, from Summer 1994′s Clamp in Wonderland:

I don't think the Spear of Longinus should be able to function as a golf club, but hey what do I know, I've never hit the greens a single day in my life except for in Wii Sports.
