That's an impressively accurate assessment.
A good rule of thumb for AI is "would you trust a trained pigeon to do this?"
"We trained a pigeon to recognise cancerous cell clusters and somehow they're really good at it" okay great, that's something that could plausibly be a thing.
"We trained a pigeon to recognise good CV:s and left it in charge of sorting through all our job applications" uh perhaps consider not doing that.

The thing is, we've been seeing Qanon level reality denial from the left for over a year and a half now when it comes to Hamas, Israel, Oct 7th, the history of the Jews in the Middle East, the existence of antisemitism, etc etc etc. It's become increasingly mainstream and become increasingly frightening and dangerous for Jews. But what was distinct about this type of reality denial is that the consequences for it started and ended with putting Jews in danger. In other words, the people engaging in it were never really going to feel the consequences of their own actions.
I feel like this sudden mass delusion that there's no evidence Iran is/was developing nuclear weapons is a tipping point in terms of how far the general population is willing to take reality denial in order to maintain their belief that literally anything The Jews do ever is evil and wrong 100% with no nuance. The reason I feel like it's a tipping point is because while the motivation for it is still clearly antisemitism and the desire to fit literally everything into a Zionists vs. The World narrative, the consequences for this denial are clearly now moving beyond a minority group you already hate getting hurt.
What I mean is. People are now willing to deny obvious facts that potentially could endanger them, not just The Jews. They're so committed to this that they're willing to en mass pretend that there's no evidence of Iran developing a nuclear weapon, something that would have massive global impact. We are really screwed when people are willing to ignore facts that endanger their own personal safety, just to keep their oppressor vs. oppressed narrative 100% clean and tidy. I really do feel like we are at another tipping point.

I’ve talked about how, as a goy, speaking up against the appalling onslaught of antisemitism that permeates every facet of society now often feels like yelling into an abyss, because most people either just don’t care or are actively participating in it.
And then it hit me like a brick to the face. People who speak up in support of Jews, Israelis, or for the wellbeing of the hostages often get accused by the extremist “antizionists” as “manufacturing consent for genocide.”
And that is EXACTLY what they are doing. The sheer level of dehumanisation and demonisation of Jewish communities, of Israelis, has reached a point where if a large scale horror like the Holocaust were to happen again, a terrifying amount of people would shrug their shoulders, turn away, and say “it’s just Zionists, they deserve it anyway.”

Wait so was no one gonna tell me heritageposts abandoned their blog immediately after the election and confirmation that Donald Trump would be president?
You mean one of the most popular violently antisemitic pro Hamas pro Russia pro North Korea pro Iran blogs that did nothing but spam insanely hateful propaganda all day and call anyone who voted a genocide supporter....was a plant?

So apparently, the Wikipedia page for Muslim Migration to Ottoman Palestine is deleted, and one of the main reasons was "Zionist propaganda."

Very nicely put. I would say, however, that many people who regard themselves as anti-zionists are not consciously antisemitic but were led to adopt such views through ignorance and peer pressure. There are, of course, others, mostly radical leftists and Islamic fundamentalists, that deliberately spread misinformation and malicious antisemitic propaganda, but most people are just naïve and misguided.
maybe a stupid stupid question because i just have been overwelmed by politics and media for years and had to step away from alot of it bc it was causing me alot of distress and am not as informed on judaism but coukd you elaborate a bit on the antizonist = antisemitic post i would love to hear the perpective of an actual jewish person rather than inflammatory shit from non jewish people if you don't have the energy please do not feel obligated i just thought it would be better to ask someone who is actually jewish than try and use discression for sources thst dont say explicitly that they are also jewish (sorry really wordy i am autistic and tend to over explain)
hi anon! Thank you for your kindly asked question. I don’t have the energy to give a super in depth response, so I’ll keep it pretty simple:
for me, there are three main reasons why I consider antizionism to be, at its core, antisemitic. The first reason is logical, the second reason is historical, and the last one is anecdotal (i.e. based on my observations)
first of all it is crucial to define zionism. Unlike what you might have heard, the only true definition of zionism, which is the way Jews define it, is the following: Jews need to have their own state in their ancestral homeland, because other peoples keep oppressing, murdering and exiling us. Zionism arose out of a need to survive in the face of terrible violence that was inflicted on us mostly by christians and muslims. now, why does this country need to be where it is? Because it is our homeland, and large parts of our culture revolve around it. The Jewish people and the land of Israel (not to be confused with the modern state of Israel) have always been inseparable, no matter how far away and how many times we were exiled from it (and there have always been Jewish communities living in that area despite the exiles).
now, there are different forms of zionism, and different ideas for what kind of country we should create or what our relationship should be with the Arab population, but at its core it’s nothing more than “we need our own country because the goyim (non-Jews) keep trying to kill us”. And this sentiment was proven right in the most horrible way by the holocaust. Despite what you might have heard, israel was a nation founded mostly by refugees who were refused entry almost everywhere else. They literally had nowhere else to go.
so when people look at this situation and say, “no, I don’t think Jews should have their own country”, then they are condemning us to suffer death and oppression. Ergo, antisemitic.
this was the more abstract reason why antizionism=antisemitism. The second reason is linked to old Soviet Union propaganda. To give you some background, Russia in the end of the 19th century was one of the worst places to be a Jew. Pogroms were commomplace, and many Jews had to flee the country. Now, the soviets considered themselves modern and enlightened, and so they couldn’t admit to being antisemitic in the old way. Instead, they rebranded this old hatred into a new term: “antizionism”. They made Jews into the boogeyman of socialism. They accused Jews of being imperialists and colonisers (sounds familiar?). This narrative justified the persecution of soviet Jews, no matter how secular or loyally communist they were.
this narrative has been adopted almost verbatim by modern leftist movements, who very often have ties to the old communist movements of Europe and America. Antizionism has always been just new coat of paint over old antisemitic ideas (Jews control the world, the banks etc…).
Lastly, my reason for saying antizionism is 100% antisemitism is purely from observing these movements for the last 15 months. Every single modern movement that claims to be antizionist has proven itself to be riddled with antisemitism. This is not incidental or just limited to a few cases. It is SYSTEMATIC and BY DESIGN. Advocating for Palestine is not by itself antisemitic. But advocating for the DESTRUCTION OF THE WORLDS ONLY JEWISH STATE totally is.
one final note: when a Jew calls themselves antizionist or non-Zionist, it doesn’t quite mean the same thing, and would require much more nuance than can fit in this post. Suffice to say that everything I’ve talked about mostly applies only to antizionist goyim (non-Jews).

I say this as an American who thinks the CEO of United Healthcare was a criminal who was responsible for the needless deaths of many in the American healthcare system. I say this as someone who has personally had my health compromised by United Healthcare:
There is a direct line between celebrating the brutal murder of Jews on 10/7 and celebrating the vigilante murderer of the United Healthcare CEO. The idea that extrajudicial violence is okay when it's done for the "right" reason will destroy any movement it touches. And people are just refusing to see it because they were unable to see, name, and stop their antisemitism in response to 10/7.
And now saying something obvious like "gun violence is wrong" is bad take.

There is, in fact, nothing morally inconsistent about "people should be killed when their continued existence negatively impacts the greater good, but I distrust the state and its agents to carry this out justly or properly." If you suppressed your desire for a cheap gotcha and actually did a little analysis, or, hell, even supposition, you could proooobably guess the basis for this widespread sentiment. This is some Human Motivation 101 shit, and it's kind of rich that it apparently manages to go over your head while you jerk yourself off to being oh-so measured and capital-R reasonable.
So, you distrust state institutions to serve justice, but trust some self elected John Doe to act as judge, jury and executioner? That's the same consistency of anti vaxxers who think all scientists are fraud but a random internet guy is voice of reason.
So, yes, I understand the sentiment, but that's a sentiment of a lynch mob. Even if the victim got what he deserved, vigilante justice is always wrong. More inocent than guilty people fell victim to it.
