The characters with flat colors were done in early 2024, the rendering and the bg was finished this month - which shows! 😬

They’re hanging around in Toluca Graveyard. That’s Goth Becca’s fave spot since her bestie Heather (or Cheryl) showed it to her and she’ll explore & do naughty things in the tombs with Metal Billy later - just casual goth activities. ^^

I always share random thoughts on former bird app but I realised that this is best place if I want to yap about things that need more explanation.

So we can call this Bapo Blog - part one! :3

My love for comics has started before I went to school a long time ago. It was a Sailor Moon issue. I can recall reading or just looking at it while I was in the dentist’s waiting room with my mother. Then some day I thought maybe I should try drawing comics too…

My first comic was about schoolgirls who played baseball. It didn’t have much of a story - as my mother told me - but I really liked the characters. Then I came up with Mongrels and I still work on it from time to time up to this day. It’s a sci-fi and slice-of-life comic and the characters embody different aspects and hardships from my teenage years. I also have many more stories in different genres with so many OCs! 🫢

I drew for myself for the first couple of years and when I changed schools, I got to know a girl who was really enthusiastic about my stories. She loved animes as much as I did. Always compared our classmates to characters from animes. We kinda became best friends and she was the main reason I wanted to keep creating. So when she wasn’t as enthusiastic, I felt unmotivated to draw. I was disappointed and hurt. I almost gave up my dearest hobby. 💔

I also have a childhood friend, we drew together a lot, came up with story and character ideas. Those were really good times! We both loved Inuyasha and W.I.T.C.H.

It felt really good when someone was listening to me when I wanted to talk about my silly fantasies. I found out that it’s good to share my art with other people. 💌

Nowadays, I feel like I shouldn’t share it. While I make my artworks mostly for myself, I also don’t want to disappoint people who are excited to see my works. But I also expect more… probably because I do more than ever. I put more effort into my drawings more than ever. I need encouragement more than ever.

Starting commissions was a big step for me. It took a lot of convincing and I’m still not sure if it’s gonna work out for me. I love to make art for other people actually. When someone asks me to draw for them it’s like, one of the biggest compliments. I feel appreciated.

But making art is also a sacred act for me. I can get very sensitive about it…

Anyways, my ultimate dream has always been making a graphic novel for a story I’m completely satisfied with. The story I mentioned (Mongrels) is not there yet.

I started to draw a lot of fanarts in 2023, mostly for my favorite ship (Rebecca and Billy from Resident Evil Zero) and I’ve been working on a script for a comic about them since the beginning. I really want to start drawing it later this year! 🤞🏻✨

Hello sapiens,

I’m Bapo and I’m here to share my art and others’ work I find amazing.

I like to create art to express my thoughts and feelings about things I like: video games, shows, anime etc. Current obsessions include: Resident Evil Zero, Attack on Titan

Although I really like to play around with different techniques, I prefer drawing in semi-realisic or anime/manga style and making comics. I also make ship art and draw NSFW sometimes so beware! (Shoo minors!)

As of the year 2025, I started to really practice drawing (like, doing studies and stuff) and I plan to start doing commissions soon (depends on how comfortable I get with my skill level).

After two years of seeing this for the first time I’m still obsessed 🖤🖤🖤

Yesterday I finished the Resident evil zero book… Yeah, the book. I never played the game, sorry. The thing is that I loved the dinamic between this characters, they are so adorable together. But, where is Billy Coen? I would like to have him in a new game. What do you think about it?
