obey me holds a special place in my heart because it was the thing that made me come to terms with my gender identity. I've always felt completely detached from gender, pronouns, my own name, and even felt uncomfortable being associated with being a man or a woman, but I always dismissed it as not a big deal/being a normal thing and never put much thought into it.

it was only after I started playing the game that I realized I was REALLY comfortable and felt a sense of liberation with the idea of being genderless and having that hardly be acknowledged and taken as completely normal.

ah yes, the 2° exchange student is referred to as they/them and no one bats an eye or questions anything!! They're just our genderless gremlin of a human who feeds on chaos and is 90% of the time adding fuel to the fire whenever any sort of troublesome situation presents itself, giving the rest of the cast several grey hairs with their antics 🙃

(this is of course an oversimplification of the journey it was and there was a lot more involved and more nuance to it but you get what I mean)

anyway, thank you obey me for being the thing that opened my eyes finally 🙏

I haven't seen anyone talk about this, but man, the original soundtrack of Obey Me was SO good.

I understand they wanted to change the vibe for Nightbringer, but there's something about the original that just hooked me right away.

The wicked art style, the font of the title card, the victorian music... Everything clicked together.

I'm glad they decided to not put music of the menus on Nightbringer, but if they finally close down the og game I hope they bring back those songs, even if it's for cutscenes.

I am sorry but ı can't understand asmo fans like how can you like him? I love him to some degree but no. Firstly amd most important he is a narcissist and his actions doesn't come of sincere (in nb sometimes he was sweet but thats it) and in beginning of game he was saying things like "You are not dead yet? Boring." And after what happened with Belphegor coming out of attic and beel taking us to purgatory hall and when we come back HOL he says weird shit like "if you lie me ı will take out your hear and look inside." And if he existed in real life he would be unbearable twice as this. Sorry but ı don't get it :/ like he is just plain horrible and insufferable.

I see ppl talking about how Diavolo's hair & skin color should stay the same when he changes into his demon form, but I actually think that he looks way better while in demon form and that look should be the one he has all the time. Idk, I just love how he looks there, his skin is darker and has this silvery/grey-ish tone (that I've seen complain about it for being unnatural but cmon, he's a demon. these characters could be blue, orange, or green for all I care), also his hair is VERY vibrant red in his demon form, which makes his golden eyes stand out in a way that makes him look so beautiful, majestic and alluring in a way.

Idk, I just love his demon form's design so much, oposed to the pale human one with brow-ish hair that looks just alright.

There is a player causing drama because they got called out for calling Barbatos a f**. The player and their friends are obsessed about it and trolling.

The fandom is already toxic enough without folks dropping hatespeech and defending it like it's their right to say it and call themself one. It's not okay to use a word like that even ""affectionately"" or as a joke especially at a character they're saying is a gay man. They're trying to look unbothered but they blocked the anon because they didn't want more confrontation. What's worse is the player tried to do a gotcha and then dismissed the proof they asked for when it backfired.

They say it's okay because they're trans and are proudly calling themselves and their friends f**s like it's theirs to reclaim, but it's still homophobic. Another way they're defending it is because the characters aren't real and don't have feelings, but the actual problem is how this effects real people.
