Something season 8 really went for is showing that no matter what Damon will always be in between Stefan and his ability to love anyone else by Stefan's own design. He picks his brother everytime. He loves his brother more than life itself. So we knew all along Stefan and Caroline were doomed. I wish they'd gotten insane with it and when Caroline threatened Damon Stefan should have pushed her and been like interesting you think his life is up for debate

My theory with Silva is that he too had a rebel phase.

He explored the world and found Kikyo in meteor city that he fell in love with. (She is canonically from meteor city) Then he came back with her, they married and he took his place as the head of the family)

So I think he was like "yeah, Killua will explore the world then come back stronger with a wife and give us 5 grandkids while becoming the head of the family~ normal stuffs"

Little did he know... No wife

i think a lot about Silva's actions because he presents them sadistically to his wife. but he never makes any moves to hurt Killua like his other family members. and when Killua brings up their little pinky promise Silva gives in and let's Killua leave with Alluka. It's Illumi who is clearly just like his mother that's fucking nuts about it all
