Tonight on Blades Against Darkness
We made a height chart.
Also there were a lot of goops as the OG trio, Ward + Almera + Sidewinder, delved into a ruin corrupted by the Primordial Rot while House Hunters Internationalling through a list of eligible local non-witch-king-ruins to find a place to try and seal the Witch-King-Formerly-Known-As-Hollow while they finally try and separate Hollow from it (which we as the players know will not work, but the characters still hope their friend is in there).

the most crucial aspect of role playing games is that sometimes you get to wear a cute outfit for them

one of my favorite recurring jokes from my Blades Against Darkness game is that my character Almera is like a horse girl but for extremely dangerous –and often horrifically cursed and/or intelligent–magical weapons
Almera when she doesn’t “horse girl” her newest highly volatile and addictive to use magical gun:
Almera when she does “horse girl” it:
#my gm literally said 'you gotta horse girl it Almera' after that 1st roll#AND THEN THE CRIT SUCCESS HAPPENED WHEN SHE DID THE HORSE GIRLING LMAO#almera galloway#campaign: blades against darkness

A ranger and her jackalope friend! Wanted to paint something fantasy but make it ~*~Western~*~
Did a painting mentorship with Paul Scott Canavan! It was a load of fun and I learned a LOT. Devastating how much good references, studies, and time actually help with artwork (jk but for real)

Mistress of mirrors, the face-stealer, demon of the underworld and Charlie's patron - Setarra! I had her introduction planned out since July last year, so happy to finally see her in game.

An entity made out of stardust, almost struggling to mantain a humanoid shape. They look at you with a distant curiosity, almost as if they couldn't really understand mortals. Perhaps they long for that connection, but it doesn't matter: They were sent here for a reason, and they have a job to do.
Back with my Star genasi stuff! This one I can't talk much about because it's gonna be a spoiler for my campaign, but I longed to make a nebulous creature again, so here they are!
As always, reblogs are super appreciated!

Have you played THE WILDSEA
By Felix Isaacs

The world is covered in a mile high sea of trees and the remnants of civilization sail the wooden waves on chainsaw ships. Players can choose to play humans with an affinity for spirits, cactus people, moth people, spider hive minds in skin/silk suits, jelly people, mushrooms, or ensouled wrecks/machines.
