In Real Life was formed on August 24, 2017. The five boys were brought together when they won ABC’s show Boy Band. Boy Band was a show where basically a bunch of boys competed against each other by being put into a different boy band each week to win a spot in the final boy band. Obviously, the boys of In Real Life won the show and each gained a spot in the final boy band.
