Blisterrrr. I "redesigned" her to fit her book description as I don't think she's all that accurate in the graphic novel. Nothing too crazy, just made her a bit more serpentine and cunning in the face.

Also its not too clear from this angle but i've decided to hc that sandwings have pitch black insides (kinda like the ayam cemani chicken, but the melanism is only expressed under the scales).

So teeth, eyes, bones, organs all melanistic. I was thinking it could be something akin to a certain bacteria common in the sand kingdom that also gives their bite an extra boost in lethality, not due to venom or anything but the increased likelihood of infection. (I drew some inspo for the concept from sea lions and their black teeth, just look it up it's actually kinda interesting).

The whole deal with her back spines was that I was gonna make them crystalline and snowflake-shaped but the contrast was too much with the dark theme I wanted. Gonna have to figure out how to execute it later on.

Good news, I've actually redesigned him already! This was another one from a while ago (I keep saying that but truthfully it's because I just did so many..)

I debated touching this design up, but ultimately decided against it because I just love it so much! One thing I would improve on if I were to do it again would be making him a little more chubby, but that's all. I think he should be this soggy in canon.

my peril redesign!

this also isn't very new... I'm busy with other stuff but still want to put out some wof content. This design's process vid is on my tiktok!

I really like this design for peril - I felt that her look in the comic is nice, but it doesn't really portray firescales to the extreme that I would have personally liked to see. I'm a huge fan of seeing how powers manifest themselves physically, so I gave peril some flaming wing and stomach patterns. I think it would be super cool if her underbelly, specifically by her throat, looked a little like a lava lamp! Same with her tail - you can see her spikes turn warmer as her tail gets hotter near the end, as if they were melting too.

Skyfire: Terror of the skywings

I made a wof oc! My very first for this fandom.

He only exists in the context of my tyranny AU Where Blister and Queen scarlet find common ground under their allies' noses. Blister, tired of Morrowseer's strong-willed dragonets of destiny, sees a more promising opportunity in Scarlet's ruthless, hands-on approach and her far-reaching influence.

I'll elaborate on the base concept ✨later✨ but regarding Skyfire:

He was forced by scarlet to change his name after she saw him in action and discovered his abilities.

He is fully skywing but was hatched near ice wing territory as his parents attempted to keep him away from the cutthroat mess the skywing kingdom had become.

Has permanent discoloration in his wings from prolonged exposure to freezing temperatures.

Shared an egg with his twin and was born the stronger of the two, though not a firescales. His flame is extremely powerful and far- reaching.

His own resistance to flame is remarkable compared to that of other skywings.

Became quite the expert at capturing, and killing nightwings for Scarlet's new and improved arena.
