"That's kind of scary if you think about it. Definitely an attractive view point on a killer, much like that of the population's fascination with Dahmer, but through the lens of a woman. I like it." Sebastian replied, feeling like this book of hers will definitely be one he'd read. "That's a long list." he laughed, "It'd be easier to say what I have done. Anything farm related I've done. Everything else is pretty much questionable. What about you? You follow murder stories into a murder town, so that alone can be enlightening of how adventurous you can be."

“What would you consider a really good motive? And maybe also how would you plan it out?” Sebastian hadn’t personally known the girl, but with how small their town was it was easy to hear everything that went on in just about everyone’s lives. Made him feel much better about living on his own in a large farm where only friends went to visit. That and he did his best to stay on the low whenever he was out and about. “How did you enjoy yourself at least? I did go to the party for a while as well, but other than that just worked on my farm. The usual busy life. I don’t really do much else.” he chuckled.
Tumblr media
“A really good motive would be... psychological gratification. They like it. Maybe the first one is a moment of passion but then they feel powerful. Having that kind of control? Litterally holding life in their hands. That sensation is... could be very addicting,” Jade said, with a small smile on her lips. “It was fun, something different... maybe you should try something different. What’s something you’ve never done?”

"You have some very strong opinions on this matter." Sebastian said glancing back at the vehicle before them, "I mean I get it, don't get me wrong, but again that's sort of the reason you call a mechanic. I know problems solving is like one of the top five life skills you should know, but I highly doubt they meant solving the inner workings of a vehicle." Sure if it was something simple enough to do - like change a light bulb - he could do it, but anything past that there was not real purpose. Besides finding the time to actually do anything not work related meant that he'd have less time to relax and treasured his down town a little too much for that. "It's kind of hard to not be. You're a pretty interesting person. Behavior's a little lacking, but who am I to judge that?" Bash joked hoping it wouldn't turn into something else, then shrugged before saying, "It's not really something I got into as much as a family business. My parents ran the farm, I came in and took over most of the work, so it just became mine." His entire life had been nothing more than just a normal occurrence for him. He was born there, found the love to continue living there, and never really cared to do or search for deeper meaning or a bigger world outside of his farm. Perhaps it was secluded and lonely from time to time, but he embraced that in the beauty of his surroundings. Despite the occasional smells that threatened to turn his nostrils inside out, the farm was truly a wonderland for him. "You noticed the corn?" Bash perked up a little more excited about his choice to ignore her dismissive nature, "That's new this year. I planted them almost in like a small maze vibes, so that this Halloween I can hide things for the kids who always come looking for candy. Like my own little horror maze." That had only been his second reason seeing as he loved corn all together. Could literally eat corn on the daily and nothing else if it wasn't such a season based vegetable. A grain? Fruit? Who knows, but he did enjoy them so. Popping his new beer open, Sebastian took a good long swig on their way into the garage. "I honestly feel the same. I can't tell you when's the last time I even came to look at this thing." he said, walking around it. He flicked the keys in her direction, resting his back against the wall of the garage so she could explore undisturbed. "Just like before I don't know what's wrong with it. It don't turn on, from what I remember. But whenever you got some extra time, and if you want to give it a good old look through, I'll make it worth your time. If you're interested that is."
Tumblr media
It was always hard for June to pinpoint her anger - where it stemmed from, why it happened; a mine in a minefield, constantly exploding against the surface and only creating a bigger, wider crevice wherever she landed. They couldn't help it - always needing to find issue with something, to point blame somewhere; even as a child, pushing others off the monkey bars and claiming it was the other kid's lack of strength. If they were stronger - they wouldn't have fallen; if June was stronger, maybe she'd be kinder. Yet here she is - grown now, and still spitting a confusing mix of venom towards whoever'd been nearest. "Because it's a fucking life skill - everyone should know the fucking, basics on how their vehicles work. If you fucking - let someone else use the tractor, and it lurches out of control - and they fall over, break a neck - get caught in the blades beneath - that's a fucking lawsuit. That's a bloody, gruesome lawsuit." June didn't know why they were offering their help, truthfully; he was right, it only decreased the amount of money she would end up with. If she was curious about his profession - which she was, somewhere deep down; living off yourself and being sustainable, truly independent, was a pipe dream to them - June hadn't let it show, only focusing on the machinery in front of her. Even a few feet away - Sebastian felt entirely too close. "Well -" she faltered, for a moment, brows furrowed, "- stop being interested, then. I don't ask why you got into fucking - butchering animals and farming fucking - corn. 'Cos I don't care." He was being nothing but kind to her - but June couldn't stop her harsh tone, the glare that always crept out from her eyes, watching him as he went inside, and still following him as he came back. "Thanks." It was the best she could offer - falling in tow with Sebastian as they headed towards the garage. "That's a fucking waste. I don't get fucking - collectibles. Just drive the fucking thing or sell it, Christ." Even through her words, intrigue crept in. If she could get that old junk to work - the engine to roar again, maybe he'd pay her extra. It became a challenge to her - something that actually excited her.

Bash slapped his chest twice to indicate he was the man. Proud to know the way to everyone's heart- through bacon. His catch however was not as good as he thought, "You ain't throw it correctly." he blamed KP as he leaned town to pick it up. "Mama's got some good ass bacon. Specially after a long night of drinking." he turned his head and laughed, "Exactly what do I owe you now? I'll let you pick your own chicken, how about that? But I get the pleasure of watching you run around and catch it."
Tumblr media
They nodded thoughtfully. "You know what? Good incentive." Bacon was always a good incentive. "I'll take the deal." At Bash's response, they let out a raucous burst of laughter, flipping the coin towards him. "Fine, fine. Keep your precious silver dollar, then. Guess I'll just have to survive off of Mama's bacon for the time being. But you owe me some, eh?"

"Now that's just awful. I've done nothing to deserve this treatment from you." Bash scoffs, turning his head in the opposite direction so he wasn't looking towards them. "You won't have to buy bacon for the next like two weeks, so you can't even front. And the baby-back? Massive!" he laughed knowing well that KP probably won't be taking the pig. Not alive that is. Where would they put it? "You're just full of jokes then, ain't you? That don't count. You already seen the date. I'm keeping my pig!"
Tumblr media
"I don't like you, either." K.P. laughed, grinning. "A pig? Bash, why would anyone but you want a pig? But fine, I accept." At his question, their grin only widened to a level some may have described as shit-eating, and they flipped the coin in their hand over, pointing their pinkie to the year inscribed on the coin. 2008. "I don't need a degree in coin-ology to read a date."

"Do you think they have cake in here?" Bash did his best to glance up behind the register. He was tall enough that it didn't look too weird, but he didn't see anything regardless. "Isn't there like a cake shop somewhere on this strip? I could go grab you a piece if you'd like?" If she really wanted some ice cream, he'd go grab it while she waited inside the ice cream shop. Specially if it meant their shopping spree might be pushed a bit further. "Carry the bags, and be a good critique." he grinned, knowing well that he wouldn't get away with just holding bags. "I wrote a list of complements from White Chicks." he joked.
Tumblr media
"Hm... cake goes great with ice cream, doesn't it?" she asks, though with her vanilla ice cream, she's already imagined the idea of having a fresh chocolate slice alongside it, the perfect combination in her opinion. She lets out a laugh, shaking her head before taking another bite of ice cream, spoon lingering around her mouth as she speaks. "Oh c'mon, all you'd have to do is carry the bags! Think of it as a little workout," Rosie jokes.

“That’s great.” he said genuinely, picking up a menu and scanning through it despite not really interested in anything at the moment. “Boring?” he couldn’t help but laugh because with all the crazy things the girl did boring wouldn’t be a way he’d describe her, “I mean if it’s true that there was a second murderer like the police originally believed then I could see it. I support you. Make an out of this world crazy psycho.” He wasn’t too sure that Adee did any of this on her own either. He didn’t know the girl well enough, but based on what he’s gathered it seemed like perhaps she was more of a push over than anything else. “Aside from work, how have you been settling in?”
Tumblr media
“I mean she did some stuff that wasn’t boring but so many of the kills had no connection. If she was actually the only killer then she would have been killing people pretty randomly which isn’t good for a story, you know? Also, the jealousy thing is overdone. I need a character with a really good motive, one you can watch slowly get more and more unhinged as the book goes on,” Jade explained, before realizing she was talking a lot and took a sip of her drink. “Um, it’s been pretty good. I went to that party which was pretty nuts because I’m not normally a party girl, but what have you been up to?”

"Yeah, let me go get that for you." he said, nodding his head before he tentative got up off the bed to grab the first pair of boxers he found. Had his head not been such a puzzle trying to work through to remember her name, he would have probably reached and grabbed himself some clothes, but instead he walked around his bed and headed into the bathroom to retrieve some pills for her. "You shouldn't really take pills on an empty stomach," he murmured upon returning, mostly under his breath and to himself but handed the bottle regardless, "Kitchen's this way." Sebastian turned to lead the way.

Waking up in a stranger's bed was completely out of character for the brunette and even as she tried, she couldn't seem to remember how things got here—wishing she would've woken up earlier. If she had, she wouldn't be stuck in the middle of a conversation with bar boy after being caught in the middle of making a quiet escape. "I..uh, yeah, sure. Coffee sounds great," she finally agreed, but mainly because the pounding in her head was screaming for a kick of caffeine. And a pain killer. Speaking of, "You wouldn't happen to have a Tyneol or anything like that, would you? My head is killing me."

Bash nodded in agreement with her and smiled - he truly did find solace and peace in this farm. It was all that he knew, and still he couldn't get enough of it. "Don't be. You're too kind." he said, nudging her with his shoulder. "I think it was just a thing that at the time she needed. I could handle my own, whereas she was dependent on them for everything." he shrugged. That may not have been his true feelings about it, but it was what he let himself believe. "Absolutely! It's amazing. We used to get into heated fights me and that rooster. He'd spook me away some days, and I'd wait up all night just so I could scare him awake the next day." he laughed at the memory, "Oh no? Not like that last time?" he turned to grin at her, "I absolutely don't mind having you around so anytime you feel like dropping on by, just do. Specially after picking out the farm's new mascot, Minnie! Now you got to break the news to George unfortunately. He's time is up." Bash looked towards the animals as he thought about it for a moment. "I guess if you really think about it, but most people don't package and sell their pets, you know? That's be kind of weird. Speaking of where's your pup?"
Tumblr media
Growing up, Gracia kept busy in order to avoid being at home, surrounded by her mother's negative energy. It's been years since she lost her mom and yet she still feels the need to stay busy. If she didn't have errands to run or work to do, she hung out with her friends. So, she understands where Bash's coming from now that he explains better. The situation in his house must've been awful if he had preferred to sleep in a barn. "Well, I'm glad you found somewhere to help you escape a little. We all need somewhere to gather our thoughts and recharge," she says lightly. "I'm sorry your parents showed her more attention. That wasn't fair to you." She knows what it feels like to be on the receiving end of parental neglect. Her case wasn't that of favoritism, given her mom had neglected her sister too, but the concept is there. She laughs softly at his words. "The rooster's your own personal alarm. You don't need to set one on your phone when you already have the rooster doing the job. Thank you. I'd love that, if it's no intrusion, of course. I know it's already way too early. I'll let you know beforehand if I plan on passing by. I won't surprise you and wake you up," she promises playfully. Gracia knew she needed the world to stop for a moment, just to catch her breath and to hit pause on her own brain. "They are pets though. You take care of them on the daily, and they keep you company. I'll show you which chicken I mean. Oh, I already named her Minnie. She's definitely the mascot now. George has worked hard being the mascot and deserves some rest."

"On the count of three." Bash said, holding up a hand as he watched the chickens running loose around in their pen. He didn't often go out of his way to turn his lifestock into a game, but something about watching Myria run around trying to catch one for dinner was something he simply could not miss. "Alright, ready? One...two...three! GO, GO, GO! Remember grab by the belly! They'll only peck you if you're really slow, oh and avoid the mothers!"

Bash laughed at her response, unsure of how exactly to react to her anymore. The entirety of this day had turned into an oddity for him to decipher - first she's mad to be there, troubled that he was at the other end of the door, and now somehow he had misjudged her want or need to be there by suggesting a new truck. This was confusing for him, and all he could honestly do was laugh. "You would have been losing money if I knew how to do it myself. I just didn't understand why you're trying to teach me, if getting it fucked in the first place is the reason you're here and making money?" Sebastian scratched his head unsure of any of the words that just left his lips. Perhaps he should just stop talking all together, because he was making himself even more confused as he went on. Was he wrong? He shrugged it off anyways. "Not all the time, but mostly yes. I have people come in for different things Monday through Wednesday and then Friday it's all fax and new orders and shit like that." Before his family left town he didn't need the extra help, but since he's been alone and his orders had increased the only way that he could keep up with demand was by hiring under the table. Despite having asked her the question, he had no clue what the words coming out of her mouth were, so he nodded and mhmm-ed his way through it. Hopefully she didn't actually intend on him learning anything from that. "I'm sorry." he said, bringing his beer up to his lips as he drank the last sip. "I won't ask any more questions. I just found it interesting it's all." Found her interesting all together but damn what a fucking wave was this girl! He definitely had more questions to ask her, but chose to abort that mission before she got even more annoyed. Bash could tell she didn't like talking about herself. Made him wonder what happened to her. "Gimme a sec," he said, going back inside his home to retrieve the keys to the garage as well as two more beers for them. "Here" he handed one to her, and began walking in the direction of the car. "It has been sitting in here for well over a decade. One of those fancy old people cars that you see on the street the moment spring hits."
Tumblr media
They hated physical contact - it made their skin itch and their cheeks flare red, touch deprived to the point of repulsion - but this was for a good cause: a lecture induced by her own annoyance. "What - you want me to fucking lose money, now? Call me over here to fix your shit, just to tell me you're going to replace it? That's just plain rude." Even though she'd forced his hand - prepared to show him each step of fixing a tractor, eliminating her own job from being needed. Her eyes lifted - scanning the scenery around them, before looking towards Sebastian, "Do you fucking - work alone?" He was closer than he was before - June suddenly aware of this, her throat suddenly dry. "It's a fucking -" She cleared her throat and brought the beer back to her lips, even though she'd just put it down again - finished it off, before continuing, " - in baby terms, it's between what moves and what doesn't. So the fucking - shafts," June fixed their gaze onto the tractor, "It seizes them - and that's what causes the fucking - sputtering or lurching. They're under the fucking - drive belt. I'll order them for you - 'cos fucking, commission." Her voice faltered off - only to narrow her eyes again at yet another personal question. "I've got a fucking - record, Sebastian - it's not like I got a buncha fucking options to do other shit. Is this twenty questions? Do you want to know my fucking favorite color and middle name, too? The exact number of fuck-ups in my family?" Being in his presence bothered her - mostly because with every moment together, June only remembered more of their brief night together; it wasn't even anything scandalous - middle schoolers would laugh if they heard the source of her embarrassment. "I don't like cars," She stepped away from the tractor, rolling her eyes, "I like fixing shit. Putting shit together. Keeping my hands busy - where's the car?"

Instead of responding, Sebastian pushed on her shoulder lightly and grinned at her. His home would always be her home. He didn't go out of his way to make too many new friends. Socializing as a hole had always been a little awkward for him since he spent most of his time focusing on the farm. Not always alone since he did hire people to come by from time to time, but they were merely there for work and nothing else. The small conversation that passed through them revolved around packaging and shipping, which was just how he liked it. "That sounds fun. What kind of fabric did you end up getting? Any interesting patterns, or shakes?" Bash found it interesting and cute that she made her own attire. "You ever thought about making your own little store? I know that probably takes a hell of a long time, and energy, but I could see you doing something like that." He felt like she already had the talent to create and did such a good job on her own pieces that if she ever wanted to do more she could become a hit. Specially in the small of their town. "Yeah have you never heard of Black Phillip the goat? It's in this scary movie, we should watch it when it gets closer to Halloween." Bash said, sure that he had it on DVD somewhere in his home. "Deborah." he tested the name, "You know what yeah, why not. I don't know any Deborah's that'll be offended and Debbie definitely sounds cute." Bash placed down the chicken stuffy, "Her unhatched baby could just be Eggie and then they can have matching named."
Tumblr media
"Don't say that, then I might really start making myself at home," Mei counters playfully, grinning widely. Even if their relationship was long over, Sebastian was someone she still cared about, and given that she actually didn't have very many close friends, she thought about all of them pretty often. Ren whenever she went into a Gamestop, Jieun whenever she went thrifting to upcycle clothes. And of course, Sebastian whenever she stepped into a Tractor Supply or saw something animal-related. "I'm not sure yet! Maybe a dress, or a skirt, or a shirt. I guess it'll just depend on what comes to me when I get to work." Her head tilted, because Mei had no idea who Mr. Renkins was, but she was assuming he was a farmer or something like that. Did he live in Nightrest? She'd feel really bad if there was another farmer in town she didn't know about! "The devil? But they're so cute, and every time I've met one, they've always been nice to me," she lets out, features scrunching at the idea that what she believed to be the cutest farm animal was getting such a bad reputation. She grimaced at the sudden thought of hurting a stuffed animal, quickly wishing she had chosen the set of baby chicks instead. "Hm…" Mei glanced at the plush chicken, pausing for a moment to see if a name would come to her mind. "She really looks like a Deborah, don't you think? You could call her Debbie for short."

“I was able to talk to a few of the victims, and have learned a lot. Expecially with everyone drinking at the party,” Jade said, before taking a sip of her coffee. “I mean, although she’s the inspiration for the character it’s not really going to be based on her. The more I learn about Adee the more boring of a main character she’s become. So I’m taking the liberty to creat my own murdering leading lady.”

"No. Not at all. Sometimes I'd do it on purpose just to not go inside. " Bash reassured her with a smile, not wanting her to think he was being abused or anything. He didn't see any of it that way, it was just his parents way of disciplining him. "Don't worry about it. I don't mind." he said truthfully. Sebastian wasn't really one to go into his childhood memories much, but it was easy to talk to her while they sat out there. He felt comfortable enough to have brought it up in the first place. "She's a good nine years younger than me, so I didn't want anything to do with her from the start. I was raised alone on this farm with no one but animals, and then suddenly there was another human that my parents seemed to care for more than I. So I didn't really like her growing up. Childish jealousy, you could say." Not that it ever really changed throughout the years. Him and his sister were nothing alike to this day, and she had gotten the opportunity to do other things where as he'd been trained to be a farmer from birth. Bash laughed at her question before raising an eyebrow in her direction, "I'm up with the rooster almost on the daily. Dawn has truly become routine for me to see, but you're right it is beautiful. Breathtaking each day. You should definitely find some time to enjoy it. You're always welcomed here if you ever need to, I don't know, watch the sunrise and stop the world for a moment. Gain new perspective." he nodded as he said this, finding it important. He didn't know her burdens, but just in her words he could assume she carried a lot of baggage on her shoulders. "Not at all. The eldest animal here is the rooster, and I guess George the pig. But I don't really consider them my pets. Is that weird?" he asked, unsure of why he hadn't. It just never crossed his mind. They were there for a purpose, and once it was done they were gone. "You'll have to show her to me. Maybe give her a name. I'll save her from-" he coughed not wanting to finish that sentence and perhaps upset her. "What I meant was, maybe she can be the farm's mascot. George is due for retirement."
Tumblr media
"Was it a lot for you?" she clarifies, because at the end of the day, it's Bash who was on the receiving on it, so he's the one who mattered. Gracia can't exactly relate to not wanting to be near her own sister. Growing up, it was them against the world and it would remain so. However, it's not like she doesn't know other people didn't have a similar experience with their own siblings. "And what's it like between you two?" She shakes her head, realizing she's asking too much, but he seems okay with confiding and not only is she listening, but she's curious. "I'm sorry, you don't have to answer this. I'm asking too much," she adds quickly, an embarrassed expression on her face, because the last thing she wants is to be called rude or asking about personal issues that don't concern her. "I can that it is therapeutic. Have you ever woken up to watch the sunrise? With a view like this, it's gorgeous, right? I don't know, I'm always running around and doing things, and sometimes I have to remind myself to take it slow." She smiles softly, looking up at the sky. She doesn't always listen to herself, but the intent was there. She's been on some sort of default since she was a little girl, taking on chores and responsibilities that a child and a teenager should not be doing. Eventually, that manifested into the Gracia that she is now, someone who gets restless if she's not doing anything and always has to keep herself busy. "I don't think it's lonesome. Animals are amazing company. Have you really never gotten attached to any of the farm animals? One of the chickens you have is so cute. I can recognize her right away. She's my favorite."

"Did you really throw a whole glass on her?" Sebastian asked astonished as he brought over their plates of food. He wasn't the best of cooks, but he'd been living by himself long enough to know how to put some mash potatoes and pork-chops on a plate. "What exactly was the reason behind that?"

“How’s that book coming along?” Sebastian said, taking up the seat across from her before thinking better of it and standing up again. “Do you mind if I seat?” he asked, feeling a little silly for just assuming she’d want to speak with him, let along seat with him.

Jade glanced up before closing her notebook. She couldn’t help but giggle when he stood back up just to ask if he could sit. “I don’t mind at all,” she said, gesturing to the chair. “The book’s going well, I have the characters and beginning pretty sorted. Now I’m just brainstorming the whole middle chunk, figuring out the best order of events,” she explained, before taking a sip of her coffee.

Sebastian shrugged, thinking to himself that he had already put the money aside for a new one. The farm had been doing so well over the last few years that he actually had put money aside for more than simply investing back into it, or paying off his house bills. Not like he needed money for anything else, since he didn't do anything other than work, but it should be good for emergencies. "Jeez louise!" he exclaimed at being pulled, "I figured you'd be all for the new truck. Only means you won't have to come over to fix it for a really long time." he bit back a smile to not annoy her any more than she already seemed. "I am a farmer and a butcher, Juniper, not a mechanic. There's nothing in my job description that requires me to know these things. It's not being lazy. I just have too much on my plate as it is. That's the reason why you're here." Despite his words he leaned over paying attention to everything she was saying and pointing at, "That's great, now what exactly is that and where do I get one?" he said stepping back once she was done, explaining making sure to return to his hay bale and beer. "What got you into this?" he continued with another question, interested in knowing more. "I have a couple more machines, but they are all fine. Since you like cars and all that there is a 1967 Pontiac GTO that hasn't worked in years. Want to check that out?" The car had been in his family for a long time, and hasn't worked since he was a child, but it was so old that it'd be a shame to trash.

Casting another sideways glance at Bash - June only mumbled a word that vaguely sounded like stupid beneath their breath, beer placed on a part of the tractor they probably won't jerk around too much - half her body practically engulfed by the vehicle as she removes the battery. "You got new tractor money?" She asked - a little biting; it was a solution that was easily fixed - if he thought it easier to just buy a whole new vehicle instead of a few new parts... Bash might've well been a lost cause. "Yeah, whatever -" June waved her hand dismissively, before reaching over and snagging his arm in her grasp. " - no, c'mere and fucking - learn this shit. You're not going to go out and waste money when this tractor's got fucking - years ahead of itself just 'cos you wanna be fucking lazy. You like wasting money, Sebastian? You like not putting some damn effort into your machinery? Go be a fucking - banker, or some shit. It keeps breaking because you're not fixing the right parts of it - look," She took his hand, bringing it down to the bearings. "See? Rusted as shit - you just need to get two new bearings and put them in - and then, boom - lurching solved." June stood straight, then - plucking her beer right back up and nearly downing half the can. "Fucking - coupla' years. Like - maybe three. But I know my shit - do you got anymore machines that aren't working the way they used to? 'Cos now I don't trust you know what good - machinery looks like."

"Nothing." he responded, because he didn't really know either. Sometimes his words just come out before he could filter through them, specially when in odd situations like this one. "I didn't hit any animals, I'm sure. This thing is just pretty old and beat up over the years. I might just need a whole new truck." Sebastian took a seat on a hay bale near the door that led inside, trying to give her as much space as she could possibly need. He paused at her reply, tightening his lips together and avoiding looking in her direction. Were tractor rides supposed to be a romantic thing? he wanted to ask but thought better of it. "I didn't mean it like that." he let out taking a chug of his beer and flinging the cap towards the trash near by. Bash didn't want to invade her personal space so he stood a good three to four steps away from her, just close enough to see what she was getting at. "Yeah, I don't think I'll be getting this thing fixed again. Might just tow it to the junkyard and buy a new one. This isn't the first time it breaks down." He also wasn't the handiest of men, choosing to stick with slaughtering the animals and plucking vegetables and shit than messing around with the machinery. "Have you been doing this a long time?" He asked her curiously.

She glanced up at him, squinting against the sun - and how it peeked out from behind him, more annoying than angelic; gaze confused, "What the fuck does that even mean?" Pretty didn't equal smart in his case - or maybe in her case; maybe both - maybe it was farm jargon that she was too suburban to understand. June shook her head, cringing at the pathetic sputtering the tractor made. "You're - sure, you didn't run over an animal?" The possibilities started checking themselves out in her mind - June listening for a few more moments before turning the vehicle off. "Thanks -" She grabbed the beer and cracked it open, " - but no fucking...thanks. I'm sure a tractor ride 'round your fucking farm's all romantic and shit, but I think I know what's up with it." Raising the can to her lips - she took a few serial sips before walking 'round and unlatching the tractor's hood, peering in. "Your bearings are probably all fucked - gotta take the battery out and shit - c'mere, so I can teach you this shit and you never have to call us again." At that - June offered him a grin; as cold as the look in her eyes.
