Making Daniel Molloy an old man was such a sexy move. They didn't need to at all, but they did and the show is 1000% hotter because of it. Yeah it's also a subversion from vampire romances typically fetishizing eternal youth, but it's also just sexy to have a 70 year old man in your queer gothic romance.
