"I remember," the billionaire replied, interest peaking at the topic of the Alien, Superman. "I don't think we can put that kind of power in one person without knowing who has it. Who knows what the creature's intentions truly are."
“I have,” Lex replied, voice a low smooth tone as he focused on the most recent memory to compare with the first. “Do you remember the Challenger shuttle?” he asked then. “Watching it lift in this steady burning ascent, pushing for the heavens before it exploded?”
He exhaled, slow and steady until his lungs burned for a brief aching second and inhaled just as slowly. “Seeing the Alien is like that. For one breathless moment you believe that success is at hand, a simple purity of being as we strive for something greater before that sickening second of realization that something has gone horribly, undeniably, wrong.” He lifted his eyebrows, brow furrowing as he touched his tongue to the corner of his mouth and draped his arm casually over the back of the stool. “It vibrates from him, this frequency of otherness. We must not forget that he is other, Alien, different. We must not put the faith of humanity’s survival and well being in the humanoid palms of what is potentially it’s greatest threat.”

Kara looks over at Bruce, "I am serious I am not fucking you while flying."
"Why not?"
He gave a smug little smirk.

"You know what I want."
He'd already reached out a hand to stop the elevator from going up to their designated floor--that could wait, for now, they had time--and placed the hand under her dress. Leaning in to her chest, he kissed just above the top of her dress and lapped at the area, tasting her perfume and his skin on his tongue.
Then his head disappeared underneath her dress.
Night in the Garden|| Bruce and Kara
Kara’s body felt like electricy was running through it as Bruce’s fingers trailed down to the bottom of her dress. Her fingers lightly grazed the side of his face, tracing over his chisled jawline. He blue eyes closed slowly, tightening as his lips ran over her collar bone causing a quiet moan to escape from her lips. Although Kara normally didn’t find herself in these situations, she didn’t want him to stop, she needed his touch.
A gasp of air came out as Kara’s body was pushed up against the wall before her lips were being devoured again. This time though as Bruce kissed her she quickly switched the position having him against the wall as her hand remained on his chest, her fingers gripping his shirt. As the kiss ended and she took a breath, “what is it that you want Mr. Wayne?”

"Superman," the billionaire echoed, noting the change in Lex's features. "No, no, there isn't someone there to always save us. You're right."
He shook his head, sipping at his drink as he mulled over the topic at hand for a moment. Of course, Bruce could see where Lex was coming from. Anyone could, especially with the man's charismatic charm and ways of convincing people he was right. However, he was sure Superman had the best intentions of heart, even if he wasn't human.
"Have you seen him? In person?"
“Superman,” Lex corrected absently. “So spoke Zarathustra.” His mouth thinned slightly in distaste. “A complete and entirely asinine misnomer. He is neither super, which implies a certain lightness of being or man.”
Lex enjoyed the steady look Bruce was giving him, reminiscent of week long matches over a chess board leading to a grinding stalemate. Bruce was one of the few Lex would count near or equal and he enjoyed the banter. “Humanity looks to the sky for salvation. I think you and I both understand that there isn’t always someone to save us.” He took a slow sip, wetting his lips to chase the burn of peat. “We must save ourselves and teach the people to reach and pull for themselves.”

No, no. It's not my city anyhow.
{He smiles a little at that.} In the right light? I could say the same to you.
Well, generally, when someone asks me what I’m doing in their city, it’s a thinly veiled threat to get out as soon as possible.
[She smiles back.] Good. I don’t mind yours either. In the right light, you could be considered attractive. [It’s a playful tease, accompanied by a warmer smile. She has to lighten the mood somehow.]

Now you do.
I'm well. Busy. How are you, Stark?
Is it, Wayne? I didn’t know anything could surprise you anymore.
How are you doing?

You were switched at birth with Patrick Bateman.
I was going to leave a sarcastic remark, but I decided to be blunt.
No. I wasn't.

But how do you have powers if you're a human? And if you're Superman, why aren't Batman and you ever seen in the same room?
I took a special kind of energy drink that gave me superpowers, of course.
And Batman can't stand how good-looking I am.
