I'm very happy to announce that we'll have TMNTember this year! The entire event will be themed around the Space Arc, which marks 10 years since the premiere of the first episode!

To kick off this year's TMNTember, we'll be starting with the classic Art challenge calendar!

Rules:

Icest/Leorai/Nsfw are NOT allowed!

Fanarts or offensive posts will not be allowed.

You don't need to do art every day, feel free to take a break

If you are not an artist but want to participate, you can participate by posting about the chosen topic of the day

The focus is on the space arc, but you can make fanarts of any season

TMNTember is a Tmnt 2012 event, so please try to focus on that specific incarnation

So I had this AU idea come to me in a dream last week and I've been trying to work out the kinks ever since, so without further ado, I'd like to take a moment to describe the premise and present what I have!

TMNT: Intercity takes place shortly after the events of the third season in the 2012 iteration of the franchise.

An idea that occurred was the consequences and aftermath of the actual invasion and whether or not there were permanent damages and to put it simply..yes! There were! Most of the people who weren't affected by the perfected mutagen became mutants of their own, roaming the empty streets of New York like Karai. After the events of turning everyone back, the knowledge of mutans spread through the city and soon the rest of the world like wildfire, causing mass discourse. And it wouldn't have been long before gang members in New York would soon find unattended mutagen hidden in alleyways or abandoned garages and use that mutagen as a drug that eventually left New York, prompting more and more mutations.

Eventually, mutants would go on to have made up 35% of the human population and were heavily discriminated against for the longest time until the introduction of the Utrom, who once they got on the government's good side, would try to ease the tension between the 35% and 65% and try to get the two to coexist. And while it convinced most to ease their burning hatred and fear, there were still many who refused to live alongside mutants and would very often hide away from them.

Erm I hope that makes sense or whatever, I'm awesome at writing but I couldn't figure out how to put my idea into words

So ya here are the designs for the main four, they're pretty buns for a sketch and less detailed but it'll looo awesome when I get the motivation to make character sheets

He's surprisingly the lest complicated of the bunch to draw, and it came out somewhat decent

I wanted to make it an ibis drawing but I figured since it turned out well, why not post the actual thing?
