He just wanted us to do a course evaluation at the beginning of the lecture (mostly to ensure that we actually do the evaluation). However almost half of the course was late, so he had to repeat the instructions every time another person would enter the room.

I don’t know why but my mind is currently stuck at “Eisengeist” because I can’t tell if the double meaning that comes with the name was intentional or not.

So, “Eisen” translates to “Iron” which makes sense with the genre of it all.

However “Geist” has two meanings in German based on the context. It can mean “ghost” (which is the more likely translation) but also “mind”.

So “Eisengeist” can both stand for “(the) ghost of iron” and “a mind of iron”, and somehow both translation fit so well
