Currently reading the communist manifesto in my political theory class, I’ve never read it before so it’s cool to study some new theory.

🧋🧋I got bubble tea and bahn mi with my boyfriend yesterday which was a nice reset~

My to-do this weekend:

being in a physics major is hearing every class teacher say at least once during their lectures that not even they know about the topic that they're talking on

also i guess i can tell you guys now!! that interview i had on monday was for a summer lab research internship at a really prestigious university in the states, it was super competitive (44 people from my uni applied for this programme) and i got an email this morning saying i got it!! so i’m spending two weeks at my university and 8 weeks in the states over summer!!

I THINK I've decided to do that masters to become a librarian. I'll do it online so that I won't have to travel to another city every week, work extra at the bookstore and keep freelancing (and get student loans rip). I've also decided to accept the offer to rent my coworker's apartment (unless something gets in the way and I can't), so I'll live there for a year. then I'll move elsewhere or move back home or maybe do student housing for my last year, and hopefully once I graduate I can get a job and an apartment and start building my life. I cannot begin to describe how excited I am about this and how amazing it feels to have a semi long term plan for once

I’m continuing my uni grind 💪

My task is to design a logo for Chief Custom Construction company (this is a real company I believe, but this is not a legit order, just a task for practice)

I designed a mascot (the silly in question👇)

I sketched a lot of logo options and narrowed it down to 3

And now I have no idea which one to choose 💥

The requirements for logo were:

has to revolve around chief’s head

has to incorporate a circular saw blade

(I still have to do what my prof says, but I wanna know what ppl think >:D)

Spent like an hour in bed scrolling Pinterest and tumblr this morning, but then managed to get up and get ready with the help of my morning playlist

Then made some green tea and started with my first study session of the day. I realized that it’s way easier for me to split up my studying into bigger sessions with small breaks and then have longer breaks between the sessions

For breakfast I had the leftovers of yesterday’s dinner (a bowl with half rice half salad as the base, sweet potatoes, edamame, avocado, green onions, pomegranate, roasted pumpkin seeds, chicken and a peanut-mango sauce, it was literally so good)

Afterwards I wrote and researched a bit for my side blog and cleaned the bathroom

For lunch I had spaghetti with cherry tomatoes, baby spinach, fried chickpeas and pesto (aka my version of the most classic Uni-student food)

In the noon it was time for my second study session. This time I had to do a lot of reading. For my break I went on a long walk.

After returning I ended up chatting with my roommate for a while, so my third study session was in the evening

I had scrambled egg and corn for dinner and ended the day watching downtown abbey with my roommate, because she is literally obsessed with that show

It has only been one week since university started and my to-do list is already full. We've already had two mini projects assigned, and a presentation next Tuesday. Plus, I'm supposed to have completed 152 hours of independant study for every module this semester. Thankfully, the groups I'm in for the projects are pretty good and everyone is super helpful. Today, "MiniHyuniBinnie" did a chaotic livestream as well, which I put in the background while I worked on my market survey project.

for some reason I plan my assignments so much better by hand…I wonder if it’s because it takes more time to write it down, and I can’t just brain vomit without considering what I want to include. I did an unnecessarily large amount of research for this essay but I loved the topic so I don’t regret it.

Got slammed with a few major projects so now I’m playing catch up (ｰ ｰ;)
