It’s no problem at all! I haven’t actually been reading any fics at all for the past few months and am struggling to finish my own, but I’ll rec some classic oldies for ya (sorry some are on wattpad - that’s where I kept track of them)(I’m also obsessed with plot/AUs can you tell)

Warmth (Shyan Soulmate AU) - Jazzingit

Tally marks show you how often you fall in love.Warmth shows you when you’ve met your soulmate.Ryan has tons of tally marks and can’t wait to feel that warmth.Shane has two and prefers to be cold.

This fic is a lot more recent, but when I started reading it I actually thought about the AU itself a lot away from the fic. It’s really well done and the AU is really well thought out (I’m a ho for incredible plot lines if yall cant tell already)

Shane is 16 years old and moving to a new town with his mom after she divorced his father. Moving was hard enough in and of itself but once Shane learns about the grisly murder that happened in his new house years ago, he begins to doubt everything he previously thought he knew about ghosts.

I remember when Gemma was updating this, and it was really exciting to wait for. I also really love the AU, it’s shorter, it’s sweet, and a good read overall.
