the barbie movie makes me feel kinda gross bc like. the objectified people are. too relatable. but like. only women really objectify me and i have it pretty easy as a white amab so. i can't be. feeling bad. its just not allowed. even though part of the point of the movie is that the matriarchy would be just as bad at the patriarchy is as characterized through ryan gosling's ken when he (SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT YET) establishes the patriarchy in barbieland and says stuff like "you failed me, out there i was somebody, when i walked down the street i was respected" and whatnot, clearly conveying the previous lack of respect he felt, and how barbie (and women in general)'s treatment in the real world was akin to the treatment the kens/men received in barbieland(heck you could say he was previously objectified). and yet my classmates get mad about ryan gosling winning the acting award (he did a great job (although tbh ive only ever heard of him playing an incel like why is he in so many incel movies and why does everyone like him in the incel movies it doesn't make sense to me)) saying they award people missed the point of the movie. the point of the movie is that true equality is important. its that gendered power structures are bad, no matter which side has the power. like yes dismantle the patriarchy get rid of gender and race and labels as a whole, don't do what everyone criticizes vladimir lenin for and replace one tyranical regime with another. like what the fuck.

anyway yesterday me and my friend tried making miku music, and then did not succeed as it requires more knowledge on how the program functions than either of us had or could build with common sense, so we ended up listening to some miku songs (reminder that hole dweller is peak (and CoaRG even though it's unhinged (and magical love cure shot (yk with the miku miku beam (that part still fails to render for me considering the rest of the song being all (oh never mind i just like actually read the lyrics i didn't actually get what was going on nvm miku beam makes perfect sense))))) and played plate up. 'twas a good time. reminded me that hanging out with people is nice. except also when it isn't which is somehow always. its a bittersweet sort of thing, yk, putting in effort to plan to hang out and doing something and you go and do it together and vibe and then its over, and you're alone again. and you stay that way, alone, until you once again remember that its your duty (not your friend's) to do the reaching out, the planning, the wanting to spend time with each other, or in other words the effort. you are reminded that you are the atlas of your relationships, the Sisyphus rolling his boulder towards importance in other peoples lives, only to have it and himself rolled down and out of the hills of the mind. there is a reason i claim to have no friends, despite the fact many would call me one- for that is what i am, their friend. there is no two sidedness in a friendship involving me, 'tis only myself and the person who claims me.
