im 19. ive been obsessed with the umbrella academy forever and i have no friends who have watched and love it too. but im not just looking for the average tua fans. the fans im looking for are the kind that ship siblings!!! shocking, i know! whats almost more appalling is that these people i hope to find must love dark themes! ranging from dark and angsty with fluff, to EXTREMELY dark and really fucked up. but they must be 18+!!!! do not even talk to me if youre under eighteen!

i would like to make a server on discord to discuss topics such as this.. a little community of freaks, if you will. the server i have in mind will have channels (optional viewing,) for nearly every ship and every dark/ mature theme for the fandom, (maybe even kinks if thats not too crazy.) it will also have a roleplay channel, not for role playing within the server, but to put out requests for roleplay partners, including what you have in mind for a partner and scenario. you dont have to be someone whos into the very darkest or most shocking themes/ topics- just someone who enjoys at least base level proship, dark themes, and is open to taboo topics.

and hey, if youre not into joining servers at all, im looking for roleplay partners for specific ideas as well! even just a like minded someone to talk to would be amazing!

if youre interested in such a server, let me know!! if i get at least five people interested, ill make it and send invites! any less then five people, id even settle for a group chat.

Could you please post all the Hargreeves mansion gifs that you have? I have now decided that my life goal is to build the mansion on The Sims 4 (not sure if anyone has already tried it but...) and I'm going crazy trying to find references and pics and really anything that can help me and holy shit I think I'll go insane by the end of this bc this mansion stops making sense at some point ;-; Anywyas, I think this was actually just me rambling. But please post the gifs, that'd be lovely <3

Omg you have no idea how loudly I screeched at this because I’ve tried to do the exact same thing. I thought I was alone in my need to recreate things in Sims. I can do you one better than gifs (which, although they can show physical layout well, especially when descending/ascending staircases, are a pain to try and get detail from). I grabbed a load of screenshots from episodes 1-3 (focusing on the foyer and the parlour/dining room/whatever you want to call it).

I’m ngl, for all that build mode in Sims is my architectural go-to program, the mansion is hard. For one, L-shaped stairs. Also, the exterior facade does not match the interior architecture (window placement etc because interior sets are often a separate entity irl), and the windows behind the bar stretch over two levels. I’ve ended up just trying to old-school sketch with pencil and paper. I always forget architecture involves a lot more maths than I am comfortable with. I could post a mock-up of the layout, if anyone’s interested. There’s several observations I’ve made about it in my obsession research.

So sometimes you’re just there watching Umbrella Academy and you think “Hey, this is a really big confusing house, it would help to have a map of it!”, but no one’s done that so you have to (and also you’re a trivia nerd who wants to).
