Time for review on the @personacosmetics color theory eye kits! As you know if you have been following me for a while, the Persona Identity palette is my FAVORITE neutral palette ever. So when @sonagasparian announced they were releasing more shadows, I knew I had to have them! The color theory eye kits are $38 and come with a five pan eyeshadow palette, multi use brush and eyeliner. The pink kit is formulated for green/ hazel eyes and the copper kit is for blue eyes! Which of course doesn’t mean you can’t use them if you have a different eye color, but the orange copper tones really bring out blue eyes while the pink/red tones bring out green eyes. I am LOVING these kits. The formula is incredible. Pigmented but blendable! I would say that the copper kit is more pigmented than the pink kit, but I don’t mind that because I would rather build up pink shadows than put down a ton of pigment at once. These are so smooth and also last all day on the eyes! The pink kit is all matte, while the copper kit has two shimmers. My favorite shade from both kits is off white because it is a stunning highlight shade and also looks really good layered with the shadows in the pink kit and also layered over copper! There is very little fall out with these palettes which I really appreciate. I also really love the brush, so I’m not mad that I have two! It really does work for many uses by turning it different ways. I love that because it makes makeup so simple and quick! I love that Persona is all about making things easy for us busy gals! The eyeliners aren’t my absolute favorite, but they do have amazing lasting power! The thing I don’t like is that it can take a while to build the liner up in the waterline, which is where I personally only wear liner most days. However, they work really well for smudging on the lower lash line or upper lash line! That just isn’t my preferred makeup technique for my eye shape. So, would I recommend these? ABSOLUTELY. even though I’m not head over heels for the liners, I still can use them and the quality of the palettes and brushes make up for that! Have you tried Persona Cosmetics?? It’s the second weekend of the @sephora VIB sale so I thought I would give some recommendations! 💕 1. @anastasiabeverlyhills modern renaissance palette. Don’t need to say much, it’s a classic! And great to pick up during a sale if you don’t already have it. 2. @bitebeauty amuse bouche lipsticks, in particular the perfect bite set! This formula is so luxurious and has quickly become a new favorite of mine! 3. @tartecosmetics tartelette in bloom palette. Another classic! One of my favorite neutral palettes. 4. @pretty_vulgar liquid lipstick in weeping willow. This shade is absolutely gorgeous and the formula is lovely. If you are wanting to venture into metallic lips, this is for you! 5. @beccacosmetics shimmering skin perfectors. These highlighters are incredible, but pricey! I would definitely recommend checking out the minis! 6. @toofaced peach perfect setting powder. This is AMAZING for anyone with oily skin! It sets foundation beautifully and lasts for so long. 7. @toofaced gingerbread spice palette. This is one of the most unique palettes Too Faced has released lately and you can’t resist that adorable packaging! 8. @jouercosmetics pressed highlights, in particular the shade rose quartz. I love this formula because it isn’t glittery but gives such a high shine! 9. @toofaced the sweet smell of Christmas melted matte lipstick set. I’m not big on liquid lipsticks, but I have been wearing these like crazy! Hot buttered rum and pumpkin spice are my new go to shades. 10. @urbandecaycosmetics all nighter setting spray. So many people love this for good reason! Foundation swatches of the ones I have from @wetnwildbeauty! I know this foundation is either a love or a hate for most people but I really love it! The smell is horrendous but it dissipates quickly and doesn’t irritate my skin! I definitely would say that if you have dry skin, you probably won’t like this. But on my oily skin it lasts forever, is so thin and blends out super quickly! It is a really comfortable foundation. For only $5.99 I would recommend trying it out! 💕 From top to bottom: 1. Review time on these two primers from @catrice.us! These primers are only $7.99 and I love both for different reasons! Swipe to see the consistencies of these primers. ~prime and fine pore refining anti shine base: this is AMAZING for my oily skin! It makes my makeup last so much longer and keeps my oils at bay. I love how smooth it is and it makes any foundation look great on top! If you have oily skin I would definitely recommend this. I also think it would work for those with normal skin, especially if you are using a more hydrating foundation! ~Prime And fine beautifying primer: I also really love this primer! I definitely have to use a matte foundation with this as it is a more glowy primer, but it does still work with my oily skin! It doesn’t leave your skin greasy, but gives great hydration! It extends the wear of my makeup SO much! The consistency is much thicker and doesn’t help with oil control like the other primer, so I would definitely recommend this if you have normal or dry skin! If you have oily skin, it is still a great primer with a matte foundation. Especially going into the winter months if your skin dries out a bit like mine does! Time for review on this skincare set from @tahnyc! This is the bespoke skincare set which retails for $49 and is curated for your skin type. You get a micellar cleansing water, a facial spray, serum and moisturizer. I have been using all four of these consistently for a little over two weeks, morning and night! I have been using a cream cleanser to take my makeup off at night before going in with the micellar water. I have really been loving this set! It has helped with texture on my skin and makes my skin very clear with no redness. I especially love the facial spray because it is so refreshing and feels amazing on the skin. Thanyc uses incredible ingredients and I especially love that their products don’t contain fillers to thicken them. That means that these absorb super quickly! Who has time to wait for their serum to sink in before applying moisturizer?? Not me!! 🙅🏼‍♀️ Now, do I think these are worth it? I really do! After using consistently for almost three weeks, I have about a third of each product left. So, while $49 for four skincare products with great ingredients is a low price (compared to Drunk Elephant, Sunday Riley etc) I do wish that the sizes on these were larger. Basically, the set will last you a month or a little longer. However, I LOVE how simple this makes skin care with easy to apply products curated for your skin type. I love the clean packaging (which is all glass except the micellar water). I do wish that the moisturizer was slightly more moisturizing especially for use at night, but if I need extra moisture I can apply an oil over it! Overall, I definitely think this is worth checking out and am interested in trying more from this brand! Their products are made in the US, not tested on animals, and everything is recyclable! There is so much about this brand that I love. They have answered every DM and question of mine and are so helpful! I love brands that communicate well with their consumers. This @beccacosmetics apres ski eye palette from last holiday season was one of my favorite releases! I really wanted more of the shimmering skin perfector pressed highlights and after reading several reviews saying these were the same formula even though it’s an eyeshadow palette, I decided to get it! Several of these shades are in their permanent line, the first four swatches from the top are rose quartz, moonstone, opal and topaz. Then in the center is the shade pearl which is also permanent! I don’t think I’ve seen that Becca is coming out with a palette similar to this or a face palette this year, but I really hope they do! Happy Thursday loves! I’m in Denver for a weekend with my boyfriend visiting some friends from college 💕 I received a coupon from @ultabeauty for a free @clinique foundation if you did a foundation consultation, so of course I had to! The consultation was very easy, the woman asked me my skin type and then shade matched me. I have oily/combo skin so she went with the oil-free foundation and got a shade lighter than my current skin tone so that this will match me going into winter.
