My top 3 favorite brands
Wet n Wild
I like this brand because it gives you good quality makeup at an affordable price point. Some of my favourite products are Photofocus foundation, Catsuit liquid lipstick and Color icon blush.
Price: 2/5

Tarte
I like this brand because it offers many different value sets. You get to try out products in a miniature size for a fraction of the price if you were to buy each individually. Some of my favourite products are A Drink of H20 moisturizer, Tartiest lip paints and the Amazonian Clay blushes.
Price 3/5

Anatasia Beverly Hills
I like this brand, though a higher price point than both of the others it has extremely high-quality products. It’s worth it to save up your money to buy one pallet from ABH than to buy 2 or 3 from another brand. Some of my favourite products are the Modern Renaissance pallet, the Nicole Guerriero glow kit and the Sundipped glow kit.
Price: 4/5

The best part about all three of these brands, however, is that they are all 100% cruelty-free.

My skin care routine 2017
Skin type: Oily skin
Cleansing and makeup removing towelettes
By Equate
I use these daily to take my makeup off. They're great, you get a pack of 2 with 60 wipes in each for about $8. They contain chamomile, vitamin e and triple tea complex for an added bonus of skin care. Available at Walmart.
After I remove all my makeup I like to cleanse my face.
I use the Juice Beauty - stem cellular cleansing oil. This product helps with brightening your skin tone, removes any impurities and unclogs your pores.
Available at Sephora.
Next, i like to apply the SK-II facial treatment essence. It’s supposed to help with the renewal of your skin, so it helps with fine lines and texture as well as giving your skin a nice glow. Available at Sephora.
Then I like to apply an eye cream, right now I'm using the Tarte - Maracuja C-Brighter Eye Treatment. I've noticed a big difference in my under eye brightness since I started using this product, it also really hydrates your delicate eye skin.
Available at Sephora.
For moisturizer, I like to use Tarte - Drink of H20 face gel. It’s super hydrating and smells great. It gives your skin that nice plump feeling without being greasy or heavy.
You should always make sure to bring your face creams or gels down your neck, your neck ages quickly so you don't want to have a nice smooth face and a wrinkly old neck. Available at Sephora.
I occasionally use masks, to give myself a little mini spa day.
A couple of the masks I regularly use are:
Glamglow - Gravity mud mask. Available at Sephora.
Tatcha - Luminous deep hydrating lifting mask. Available at Sephora.
SK-II - Facial treatment mask. Available at Sephora.
and Tarte - Pack your bags 911 undereye rescue patches. Available at Sephora.
I like to stick to mainly hydrating and plumping masks as they are less harsh.
That wraps it up for my skin care 2017 routine!

Gold Sparkle Halo Eye Tutorial
This look is great for a night out or even a new years eve party. it’s fairly simple to create and easy to put your own spin on it with different colored glitter or shadows.
Eyes
Prime your lids using benefit - air patrol eyeshadow primer.
Set the primer using a cream or bone coloured matte shadow.
Take a mustardy soft brown matte shadow (Rubbish - MELT stack) and a fluffy blending brush and apply it to the outer and inner corners of the eye only,
build the colour up until it's a nice even dark consistency. Make sure to blend out the edges, so there are no harsh lines.
Take a darker brown shade (35r - Morphe pallet) and a smaller fluffy blending brush and tap the colour into the centre of the previous shade to create depth.
Next, take a cream gold coloured paint pot or stick (Gold rush - Maybelline eye studio colour tattoo 24/hr crayon) and apply that to the centre of the lid as a base. Make sure it's an even spread across the lid.
Now, take a bright shimmery gold shadow (Alchemy - Color pop) and pat the shadow all over where you applied the cream gold colour, to set it.
Apply a glitter glue ( Secret weapon glitter adhesive - Violet Voss) all over where you set the previous two gold shades, in a light even layer.
Try not to blink or open your eyes too much to prevent the glue from sticking your eyelid together or creasing the product.
Now take a gold glitter (Gold - MAC glitter) and pat it over with your finger where you applied the glue base.
Wait for the glitter to dry down and settle, then take a small eyeliner brush and more of the glitter glue and place small dots on your lid for where you want to apply the chunky glitter confetti.
Once you have the spots applied, take your brush and pick up the pieces of glitter confetti, one at a time place the pieces onto the glue spot and lightly tap them on with the brush or your finger. The more size variety of glitter the better.
Once you are done applying the glitter, take a makeup wipe and clean up under your eye to take away any fall out from the shadows and glitter.
Next, apply a black mascara (Mr Big - Lancome).
Once your mascara has dried apply a pair of false lashes. I recommend (Iconic lite - House of lashes) as they are big and fluffy but thin enough to still show the glitter through them.
Before you finish the bottom of your eye move on and apply the rest of your face makeup - Foundation, concealer, setting powder, contour, bronzer, blush, brows, highlighter and lipstick.
Once you have completed your face we will come back to finish the eye look:
The bottom is pretty much-mirroring everything we did on the top.
So starting out we take the same mustardy soft brown colour and a small fluffy blending brush and apply it to the inner and outer corners of the lower lash line.
Then we take the darker brown and place it on the inner edges of the mustard brown colour like we did on the lid.
Next, take a cream/beige coloured liner and line your lower waterline.
Then add an inner corner eye highlight by using a white-gold cream eyeshadow (Cream crush - Kiko lasting colour eyeshadow) and gently swirl it around on the inner corners to brighten up your eyes.
Now back to the glitter, take a tiny bit of the glitter glue and line it underneath your bottom lashes in the centre of your eye with that same small liner brush. Make sure it's a thin even layer as you don't want to get your lashes stuck into it.
Carefully dab the first gold glitter we used onto the glue, you can use a business card or a tissue to hold underneath your eye to minimize fall out.
Once again go in with the small dots of glue for where you want to place the confetti spots in the centre of your lower eyelid.
Let dry then make sure to spray your face with a setting spray (Fix + - MAC) to set your makeup for all day/night wear.
