my favorite kind of gift will always be homemade pastries/baked goods. it's like a little piece of heaven made just for me. screw "do you like the cookies i made for you? they're kind of burnt :(". girl. I eat school chalk (willingly). I couldn't care less if the cookies you made especially for me taste somewhat burnt. that gift will make me feel ecstatic for the rest of the week. (that last part is kind of literal if the baked goods are poisoned.)

but like for real getting gifts like that make me feel warm and gooey all over (not because of how good they taste but just the feeling of being thought of yaknow. remembered.)
