Who is “every writer?” Get outta here with whoever said that, lol.
Also nah, the amount of obnoxious pro-AI people they’re gonna attract is further gonna make that writing competition look bad. Seriously, have those people not SEEN how these pro-AI people act?
a writing competition i was going to participate in again this year has announced that they now allow AI generated content to be submitted
their reasoning being that "we couldn't ban it even if we wanted to, every writer already uses it anyway"
"Every writer"?
come on

‼️ASTROLOGICAL HOT TAKE‼️Why does everyone do pretty much any Sag placement dirty? 🙃 I’ll give the Sag rising placement as a solid example since it’s a common one ; it doesn’t automatically mean you’re shaped like a circle and have the face of a horse. If anything, sag resembles the thighs and buttocks, and our peaches are renowned for their juiciness AKA the horse allusion. (I’ve seen some very rude descriptions of this placement. Please be kind). Being under jupiters influence it can expand everything it touches and is the ultimate benefic of the whole zodiac that resembles luck fortune and abundance and higher learning. If other planets aspecting the sag ascendant like Venus, Neptune, etc. it can enhance the traits of these planets as well. Jupiter can act as an amplifier in a chart. it’s the ultimate benefic and doesn’t automatically mean you’re a total loud goofball all of the time or are automatically plus sized (which much love, my lovely thicc/full figured ladies and gents. 😘)
Some of the most attractive people in the world have this placement. Princess Diana? Sag rising libra midheaven, Kim k? Sag rising libra midheaven, Scarlett Johansson? Sag rising. Brad Pitt? You guessed it! Sag rising. Heavy sag influence (since it IS a fire placement) can also mean an athletic muscular build as well, and someone very involved in outdoors sports/hunting and events. There’s two aspects to sag energy; the rugged hunter and the refined philosopher/sage (it’s the only sign whose symbol is a weapon [the archer] i.e. the “I aim” identifier. It’s also the season of the harvest, hello. I’ve yet to see anyone truly delve into Sagittarius beyond the commitment phobic, goof ball, hedonistic responsibility avoidant adventurer tropes. Although these can be some shadow aspects to the sign, they aren’t it’s WHOLE identity and that’s what’s got me in my saggitarian honesty/opinionated self currently. Perhaps I’ll do solely a Sagittarius series cause god know this social platform needs it to round out the plethora of beauty indicator posts, future spouse crap (if i see one more synastry post, im gonna explode.) Lilith placement, and any Venusian based placement (or Leo) posts. I would debate that in today’s social media astrology it’s one of the most misunderstood signs out there. As always, aspects and myriads of other placement will dial the interpretations further, but I’m just speaking for a lot of the face value descriptions of this sign namely.
Sincerely,
A Sagittarius stellium

SPOILERS FOR TLOU S2E3‼️‼️‼️
Can we stop pretending bisexuality and exploring your sexuality doesn't exist when talking about dina??? "She said she isn't gay!" Like god forbid a girl who grows up in a post-apocalyptic world that's frozen at a generally ignorant and bigoted time and doesn't know what her sexuality is immediately. In the game it's canon that while dina and ellie both know of the d-slur, neither of them knew about pride or why rainbows were significant to same sex couples whatsoever. It's very likely that dina just isn't truly aware that you can like both at the moment because bisexuality wasn't very known in 2003 and she's only been around so many people. And while many straight people back then knew what gay was, they didn't really know or understand what being bi was. Like I feel like her arc is making a lot of sense for a girl who's attracted to both genders and is exploring that. Like the writers even said that there's a reason that Dina is behaving this way. We're gonna get Dellie, it's just going to be slow burn and it's going to flesh Dina out more as a character. Like please can we wait for the whole season to drop before deciding that the entire show is garbage and cant write good queer relationships (ESPECIALLY BECAUSE WE KNOW THEY CAN LIKE RILEY AND ELLIE AND BILL AND FRANK)

these types of stories about the rouges are so important to making them feel like real people! Jonathan is a bad guy in so many stories he's been awful to civilians AND people who try to help him. He also was abused in nearly everything back story we know so it checks out that he would have a soft spot for someone to came to him for help. Adding on to that in this version he's a teacher which is a role to help and nurture virtually strangers! This comic gives him a layer of empathy and is really important (at least to me) to actually understanding who he is.
I firmly believe that all of the rogues (excluding Joker) deserve a chance at redemption. I don’t want them to outright given a happy ending, but instead I want them to earn it and even then maybe it doesn’t last. Maybe it’s like that time like Jonathan Crane was given a chance to teach again in the story Study Hall, where he gave it all up to seek revenge on the behalf of an abuse victim.
He could’ve done nothing and stayed a teacher, but no–he choose to intervene and save Molly Randall from more suffering. That to me is important. Jonathan became the Scarecrow one last time to protect one of his students and that sort of story feels real to me. I want all of the rogues to have that.

Okay hear me out on this : Buffy Summers and Jason Todd as best friends.
They bond over the shared traumatic experience, that is crawling out your own grave after you were dead for a longer time period and how this changes you pretty dramatically.
Both Buffy and Jason always had more problems to deal with than most other kids their age, but at the start of their story, they are both portrayed as sunshine characters. Sure they both had sad moments and difficult times in their child soldier phase, before their deaths but after…
Anyway this is why I think we should talk about Buffy in Gotham instead of Danny phantom

I think what bothers me the most about people doing this is that I always see them say something about how Saw "unnecessarily blew up the base" that it was "entirely useless" and he was just "stubborn" and "couldn't see the bigger picture"
And like 1, WE have the dramatic irony of knowing that Tarkin and Krennic are going to survive bc we saw the other movies, Saw did not. 2, It wouldn't have been "useless" and "unnecessary" if his plan had succeeded, and he obviously didn't know it wouldn't succeed.
Rewatched the scenes recently (bc I got in a fight about this on pinterest of all places lolll), and there's a very important detail people always ignore:
Tumblr media
The Batch being there messed up Saw's plan too. They both didn't know the other would have a mission there at the same time and both missions suffered for it. The Batch maybe could have gotten away with the disturbance in the hangar, and Saw's team could have gotten away with hacking the cameras, but both together drew too much attention and the Imperials discovered them. (which, side note: makes me think back to episode 1, when Hunter tells Saw you can't defeat the Empire and Saw says "not alone we can't." like maybe if they had been working together with the rebel groups they could have better coordinated their efforts)
Saw had no reason to give up his mission, that he surely planned and worked for for weeks, with just half a minute of talking with some guys he ran into. Why should he give up his mission that was equally important to his cause anymore than they should give up theirs? Also why is this fandom acting like trying to kill Tarkin is a bad thing??? Hello??
Saw: Taking out several of their top commanders is a good start. Tech: Well, that victory will be short-lived as their ranks will quickly be replenished.
I just really don't think this is true. Tarkin is a big player, like 3rd in command after the Emperor and Vader, I don't think that taking him out of the picture would be useless. Think of how much work and sacrifice went into assassinating Reinhard Heydrich during WW2. Or how taking out Dooku and Grievous was a major factor in ending the Clone War. Rogue One also shows that Krennic is the main reason the Death Star even happened, bc he championed the project and brought Galen Erso back to the Empire. And if Hemlock had died then? Yeah the clones would need to find another way to find Tantiss base (which they end up doing later), but Omega never would have been captured (something else people like to blame on Saw). And if Hemlock dying at the end of s3 is what leads to Tantiss and Project Necromancer being abandoned and Omega finally being safe, I think it's safe to say that the ranks wouldn't just be replenished without any significant impact.
Taking out major leaders is a valid strategy, especially if a bunch of them are in one place. Like literally if Saw's plan had succeeded maybe the war could have been cut in half with one attack. That is the definition of the bigger picture! Yet bc Tech the oh so smart guy said one thing about it being short-sighted (in typical bad batch 'fighting the Empire is futile' fashion) everyone agrees that it was for nothing. Like honestly with all this in mind the Batch are really the ones who should have given up their mission for Saw's. And saying it was useless just because his plan didn't work out is like saying something like Operation Valkyrie was useless because it failed.
And again, it didn't work out because the Batch being there interfered. So basically, if yall are gonna blame Saw for Tech's death, then by that same logic you should blame the Batch for the Death Star and Alderaan.
Also, I think it's kinda messed up that they gave Saw this line "sacrifices have to be made for the greater good" as if it is radical, dismissive, and selfish (or at least that is how I always see people twist it), a year after Andor s1 came out which showed a Saw who clearly understands and feels the weight of those sacrifices.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For those who didn't know fans have been blaming Saw, it's been happening since that episode aired but Generation Tech did so in a recent video and you'll see plenty of this annoying sentiment in the comments. Literally saying "Saw KILLED Tech" and never mentioning Tarkin who had the car shot off the track. (They do it so violently too, I've seen stuff like "get your pitchforks" and "he must be drawn and quartered" and even "I bought an action figure of him just to torture him" like babe get a life and it's not his freaking fault!!)
I think what pushed me over the edge is seeing some people say "if only the Batch had followed orders and killed Saw in the first episode then Tech would still be alive"
like
I hope they were just joking bc um WTF??
"If only they had FOLLOWED ORDERS"???? You mean Tarkin's orders to literally kill civilians and CHILDREN?!? The orders that pushed them to leave the Empire, arguably the only moral decision the Batch (minus Echo and Omega) ever made in regards to the Empire?? Those orders!?
I'm so uncomfortable with fans blaming Saw for Tech's death, when arguably there were so many other factors. Saw isn't wrong for deciding to stage an attack when all of Imperial High Command was in one place.
I think it's unfortunate that Tech died, but with the way Bad Batch fans talk about Saw you'd think he was being malicious towards Tech in the first place. Mind you, he warned them, and didn't immediately blow the place up.
There's more smoke for Saw than there is for Tarkin or even Hemlock, in that scene. Wasn't Tarkin the one who sent reinforcements that contributed to Tech having to sacrafice himself? Even if Saw didn't blow the place up, they would have been cutting it incredibly close.
I think another layer is they wouldn't even be there if it weren't for Crosshair working with the Empire to begin with.
Idk why but whenever there are ample examples of other people besides Saw who contributed to Tech's death (namely, you know, the Empire), the blame is unfairly placed on Saw.
And if you want to say what Saw does doesn't do anything on the Grand Scheme of things, then fair. But same with Rex and his clone revolution. Regardless though, they are still acts that manage to negatively impact the Empire, no matter how small.
It's not Saw's fault Tech died. It's Tarkin's. It's the Empire's.

About the HTTYD live action remake, yes, I'm mad and annoyed that it's happening, and I'm done with all the live action remakes, and I think Hollywood needs to not milk their cash cow as much as they are, but as someone who grew up with these movies and stories, I can't be the only one who not only is mad and frustrated but also feels genuinely hurt and betrayed at the remake's existence???
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
These stories and these characters raised me, I grew up with them, I consider Hiccup and Toothless and the HTTYD universe a part of my family, and when the credits rolled in the theater on The Hidden World, I cried like I was staring at the body of a family member. I have so much adoration and love for these stories, they were my whole life as a kid, my room was dragons, my life was dragons, my childhood was fantastical and magical and full of wonder and light because of these stories.
The existence of this live action remake is stripping HTTYD of all of its uniqueness and making it into 'yet another one of the animated classics that was made into live action.' They're demoting it and tainting its reputation by doing a cookie-cutter copy-and-paste remake. The remake feels both completely unnecessary and almost...insulting, in a way.
If they wanted to make HTTYD relevant again, they should've just stuck with the Epic Universe park, which looks incredible, by the way.

Ena Dream BBQ theory
(I'm going based off just the game for this btw)
Whatever world that they're in is an afterlife, and the different doors are different heavens/hells depending on who you were while you were alive. I think that the lonely door is for greedy people because everyone has some sort of materialism/greed to them, and the entire time their looking for the "bathroom" or the genie that will clean them of their sins and grant them a wish. But since they were so greedy they have to live the rest of eternity not being able to get to the genie and can't get all the greedy they want. Or just until they've suffered enough to be worthy of forgiveness and then their able to make it to the genie
Now I do believe in the Ena soldier theory but I think she would be more of a commander of some sort because of her clothes + meanie side. It's very demanding and interrogative, like a military commander (+meanies megaphone and propaganda poster-like poses). Now idk if I believe the whole miscarriage theory with the headboard but it could be true. While she's in that liminal space outside the Portapotty she is missing her stomach, but that could be how she died in war. She also says "I need the bathroom, but it's not enough for this many body's" (or smth adjacent to that) and those "bodies" she's referring to are all the people she's killed and how much metaphorical and literal blood is on her hands from the war. We already know that the bathroom is a metaphor for getting your sins washed away. She's saying she has too many sins to just have them washed away, that's also why the genie didn't forgive her. She still has suffering left to do before she's worthy of forgiveness.
I also think that the reason everyone hates her is cause that specific afterlife she's in is all the causality from the war, and not just a bunch of random souls.
(Plus: I think we're gunna have a bbq with the boss cause that's the name of the game + the line "we're gunna get him in the gut" or smth like that lol also the game's icon on the computer is gunna be the boss)
I'd love to hear y'all's opinions and theory's I'm very curious as to what yall think!

Does anyone else take week long breaks from shows because you can’t handle the stress?
My example is Supernatural. I’m on season 9.
I love the show but I almost dread watching sometimes. I want to watch and know what happens but I also can handle the angst lmao

i love ai i love neurosama i love watching people build algorithms and training them and watching them become more 'intelligent' i love watching simulations i love NPCs i love enemies tracking our hitboxes
i hate AI that trains off of things not meant for it it shouldn't exist i hate how things like chatgpt have scraped the internet for knowledge i hate how it has tainted the uniqueness and happiness AI brought to people now when people hear AI they think of chatgpt when in reality it could just be someone's algorithm resided on their pc that they built by themselves, trained on their own work, or coded by themselves
in short: fuck chatgpt not all ai is bad

“Autism doesn’t cause low empathy! In fact we’re all just hyperempathetic we’re not bad peo-“
SHUT UP. SHUT UP. SHUT UP.
There’s a few things going on with this statement.
1. Assuming that low empathy makes someone a bad person. It does not. Actions are what matter, not empathy levels.
2. Demonizing autistic people whose low/no empathy they attribute to their autism. Autism fundamentally impacts the way you interact with the world, others, and yourself. That includes empathy.
Anyway I love you people with low/no empathy this is a safe space for you <3
Signed,
A very pissed off autistic person with fluctuating empathy levels

reminder: shifting is real. you’re going to have memories from when you were a kid or random interactions with people you knew back then. even the dream you may have had when you were 10... oh and perhaps the supermarket you visited with your parents 6 years ago? your life in your dr doesn’t start from the moment you shift there. life is still life. don’t treat your dr as a ‘magical‘ place.

They didn’t even wait until the 19th to ban TikTok. Honestly I hope people realize how big this situation is. TikTok was a news outlet for a lot of Americans who couldn’t get proper news and information (especially when their own news stations are just propaganda and fake news we don’t need to hear), it was also a home to many small businesses and people just trying to make a living. The US government is NOT banning it because of “data” or whatever shit they made up—they are banning it to control the masses and more than just that. This is bullshit.
