Dashi’s Backstory: Part I

Dashi was born into a poor, farming family in Southern China. His parents were farmers, his grandparents were farmers, and so on and so forth. It was Dashi’s fate to become one, as well.

His parents, however, didn’t want their son to have the same fate as them: poverty stricken and hungry. The couple went a long time without children, and thought they would never be blessed with them. When they had Dashi, a strong and healthy baby boy, they saw a brighter future in him, so they named him “Dashi”, which means “great hero” or “grand master”.

Dashi was a very excitable and rambunctious child, always getting into mischief. He was a trouble maker, but he was his parent’s pride and joy, and despite their hardships, Dashi always managed to make them smile.

But this life would not last, and Dashi’s fate was destined to take a turn...

also I gave Jack a makeover and aged him up like 5 yrs idk I literally just wanted to draw him with an undercut. …….even tho you……can’t tell from this angle….rip
