Some TENBLANK doodles. This show is so good and so cinematic that I have the urge to draw the characters...all of them in fact. And do minicomics with them or try to translate certain scenes in Manga form and ... AAAAH!

I need to re-work Akanes Sketchsheet tho, as I struggled a lot with stylizing her... And I think the most fun character to draw was Sakamoto , because he is such a perfect Tsundere lol.

Sho and Fujitani were super fun to draw as well, I feel like through these sketches, I get to know them better and idk... I lowkey wish they would be a real band because their Music is so good.

Also...... Is it me, or am I the only one getting Fruits Basket vibes from the story? By that I don't talk about them turning into animals but with the drama that is happening? I also feel like the whole lovestory between Fujitani and Akane is purposely forced on us, much like Furuba make us believe that Toru and Yuki were an Item first. Yet, if we look closely, it was actually established from the start that Kyo and Toru are an item. I find similar elements of that in Glass heart between Fujitani, Sakamoto and Akane...And since Sho, Sakamoto and Fujitani live together (I think it was mentioned in an interview with Takeru Satoh), they just give off the biggest Soma vibes. Or maybe it's just me . lol

Anyway, onward to drawing OVERCHROME next! I waited all week to finally draw Toya and Mashiro...I can't wait to Yap about them too and draw parallels to a certain Band that I also like very much.

Hello Tumblr! It's been a million years! I moved my art posting to instagram a long time ago now but it's not really a great place for artists anymore so I decided to come back to tumblr.

Here's some fanart I did of Takarzuka's Castlevania adaptation! I'm very excited to see the show when it comes to Tokyo in August!

For this piece, I tried to do mixed media. Promarkers, watercolours and a digital background. I have no idea if it looks good or not, maybe it's a bit "graphic design is my passion"? I dunno but I'm trying!

honestly kinda love the fact that inej and jesper both had a crush on kaz, and instead of their friendship being strained(or god forbid a love triangle) bc of it, there was just a conversation like “damn, we both got terrible taste”

the moment I heard elphaba's delivery of "there's a girl i know..." in i'm not that girl i knew i had to draw this comic, i strongly recommend listening to it while you read for the full experience!

this comic is a companion to this piece (which was inspired by glinda's delivery of the same line in the i'm not that girl reprise).

All this discourse over who does "painting with light"

Hiroshi Nagai's paintings need sunglasses to look at.

They look like how it feels to walk across a parking lot on a 98° summer day without a speck of shade in sight.

They look like heaven but also like you'd burn your bare feet on the ground.

Even when you can see shade you know it's not enough and the minute you step out you'll be burnt to a crisp like a vampire.

And it's BEAUTIFUL
