Wisdom and Contemplation. I wanted this piece to portray the need for stillness, for the space to work out where we need to be in life. It's hard to get there, but that that wisdom lies within us all.

Melancholy. I painted this when I was starting to come out of a fairly dark period. I wanted to depict the feelings of darkness, but the ability to fly. Plus, ravens are wonderful, intelligent, misunderstood animals and I think they encompassed everything I felt. Prints are available in my Etsy store.

Freedom. This was completed in lockdown and was definitely influenced by the desire for freedom and to just run. Prints are available in my Etsy store.

I've been trying out some new ideas recently, exploring my own emotions thru hybridizing humans and animals. As you do.
