Just finished my Kymal rewatch and I've come to realize that I liked it better this second time around.

Perhaps the knowledge of it, the memory I retained helped increase my enjoyment. I also knew which parts to skip (some ep1 fluff and character conflict that my sensible lil heart can't handle) which weren't much. I also enjoyed Morrighan a lot more this time around, I don't know why I just did.

This is needless to say but they interact so differently from the main cast, it's their general vibes and the fact they're more occasional players, it's such a breath of fresh air *for me*. Their willingness to toy with the mechanics and impress with their creativity is fresh and alive... and I love them for it.

I have this very old loquaerryn au which is my 'they survive through the feywild' au where through shenanigans and coercion Laerryn is forced into championship by the chaotic good triad goddesses then sent into the material plane bc of the threat of Predathos yada yada you know the story.

And one of the silly little plotlines I wanted to add was that Corellon, who hates Lolth, tells her that there's a SQ champion out there she wants Laerryn to kill.

BUT when they find her, Laerryn is like "Hey, this is basically a child? wtf?" ("I'm twent-" "A CHILD!") and Loquatius is also there and he's like "I love this girl, she's a warlock! she has potential, please don't."

What happens after that I DON'T KNOW but starts very fun.

Mainly because I wanted Loquatius in specific to meet the crown keepers. Who else to talk about PR management than Quay and Opal?
