This has been rolling around in my head for a while, so I turned it into a shirt (and stuff)

I've got to dig up some of the other stuff I was selling on the Red Hell Site and remaster it for Threadless but anyway, I have a new shop.

These are not new, but while I was moving prints and stuff to a new store I figured hey, I’m on itch.io now, I might as well toss these up there.
Here’s a pack of 12 1600x1600 backgrounds for you to use in your personal and commercial projects, for the low low price of “whatever you want to pay even if that is nothing.” These are made from various photos I’ve taken over the years, with filters thrown at them until something stuck.
I may make more of these.
#art resources#backgrounds#buy my stuff#or just download my stuff for free#whatever man#it's all good

yeah so I just deleted my old shop altogether and I'm probably going to do the same with the main if RB doesn't snap to the fact that taking back half of the peanuts they're paying us miiiiiight not be the smartest move
In a nutshell: if your account is classified as Standard, Redbubble is going to start taking a MASSIVE chunk of your earnings back as an “account fee.”
When I say “massive,” I’m not exaggerating.

I tried the “poison apple” thing again and I’m still not quite happy with it. Needs moar purple. Ah well. Next time.
I am pretty happy with the box, though. Even if I do have to polish a fingerprint out of it because I stuck my finger right in the middle of the not-quite-cured UV resin dome on the top.

Bottom halves of three molds are poured and in the pressure pot.
I think at this point it is safe to say that mixing and pouring silicone is my least favorite part of this process.
#dice making#ugh#oh sure 240g of silicone will fit in this cup#I WAS WRONG#OH GOD I WAS WRONG#fortunately there was a bowl we don't care about within reach#note to self: get bigger cups

update: Uncle Boss has a perfectly good air compressor that lives at the shop so screw it, I thought, I'd just take my resin crap in on weekends or whatever and save the $$$ and not get the compressor for now. So I ordered a paint pot to convert! Woo!
...and it's backordered. Estimated ship date: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Welp I’ve been trying to work around this but there is just nothing else I can do. I’m gonna have to break down and get a fucking pressure pot. Let’s see just how quiet this “ultra quiet” compressor from Harbor Freight really is, God I hope I don’t have to leave all this shit at the shop.

All righty then. I have ordered
1. New silicone 2. New resin
and once that gets here and I get off my ass and reprint that d4, I will be ready to give this dice thing another try.

I am the entire circus
Helpful hint: before you print your master dice, maybe take one last look at your d4 model
Are all the numbers where they should be?
Are you sure?
Did you look at every face?
Did you look at it with every number on top and make sure the other faces have the same number on top?
I DIDN’T

I was today years old when I learned a) that these .stl files should not be this Big McLargehuge and b) which tickybox I failed to tick on export to make them not be Big McLargehuge. These do print fine, but I'll go back and re-export them and upload slimmer trimmer files later. Sorry, y'all!
I just tossed the files for my dice up on Thingiverse. Have fun.

Me, to Anycubic customer service: hey I ordered some resin a couple months ago just wondering when it might ship
Anycubic: oof sorry we’re out of the clear plant-based, is another color okay?
Me: hmm yeah I’d prefer white or maybe blue but whatever you’ve got is fine at this point
Anycubic: Yellow it is! It’ll be there Friday!:D
Me: ................yeah okay you know what, that’s cool
#I mean#99% of the stuff I print either gets painted or used as a mold master anyway#so the color doesn't matter#but still lol shit

hunddlrbill replied to your photo “I’m not going to go nuts polishing these,” I said. You know, like a...”
What filament is that? UNF shiny?
Heh, I saw your other reply but just for the record I use the Anycubic plant-based resin! A little more expensive but worth it because a) I can clean most of the post-printing mess off the build plate with dish soap and water and b) it has almost no smell even while printing.
