I'd actually go as far as saying that the mha ending is harmful
yes tenko, himiko, touya are not real but by giving them that kind of ending horikoshi validated the kind of people that are saying the abuse the characters faced as children is justified, which just further normalizes abuse.
Instead of writing a meaningful story about the characters he created dealing with their abuse he chose the easy option; kill them (tenko, himiko), put them away (touya, iguchi) and favoring the abuser over the victim (yes, i'm talking specifically about Endeavor here who did not face legal consequences).
And don't even get me started how the system got "reformed" by making child soldier #1 the president of the organization responsible for creating said system in society. (hero billboards)
So yeah i hope that man never has the audacity to write another character again that faced abuse.

Someone on here said that mha has the worst representation of abused children in any media and they're not wrong lmao
Apparently you only have two choices in the mha universe:
accept help and live (Shoto, Eri, Nagant)
refuse help and die (Tenko, Himiko)
