Phishing attempt warning

For those that don’t know phising is the practice of fraudulently obtaining sensitive information such as passwords or in a worst case scenario banking information. This could be accomplished, in a variety of different ways. For instance by redirecting the victim to a fake login page, so that when they type in their login ID and password, the attacker gets their information.For this reason it’s important that you always check the address bar of your login pages to make certain the little lock icon is closed, and that the whole of the url is correct, so that you know you have the legitimate address.

However this particular attack is somewhat more sophisticated, because you do not get redirected to another page, instead it’s only the login iframe that affected. If you put in your email and you get you see this message DO NOT choose “Use the pass word to login” option! This is a fake and you’re liable to get your account stolen.

If for some reason other then an incorrectly typed password you have trouble logging you’ll get a message like the one below. Where you’ll have the usual fields for your email and password and a small caption underneath will read: There was a problem logging in, try again later.

If you click on forget your password you should be taken to a screen that looks like this.

These things might seem obvious but I only include them so you can compare, it to the phony iframe.

In retrospect I think as soon as I got power and reliable internet in mid October I should have said something. The roof sustained heavy damage the Bank’s claim department lost my insurance checks, I got one back now I have to file a fraud package to get the other one. Life has been sucky lately. Sufficed to say I had lost muse for a good looong while. But yeah in case you’re wondering I’m not dead, I haven’t quit I’m just on an indefinite hiatus (that’s probably almost over). Might make more muses, but don’t worry I’m not abandoning Beerus.

Okay here’s the 411 with me.

I had been hit with a rather severe bout of depression, as much as I wanted to rp, I couldn’t find the energy or the drive, I felt overwhelmed and like a huge disappointment. I was getting over that buuuuut-Now I have a much more pressing problem. I’m directly in Irma’s forecast path. I would be lying if I didn’t say I was a bit scared, but this also means that after Friday night, I’m probably going to be gone for quite some time whether I like it or not. I have no idea when I’ll be back or if I’ll have the urge to rp.

Third one down from top right: His family mocked him for packing his metal detector but neglecting to bring an extra blanket. He tended to get cold easily and although they were camping on the beach in Florida it was winter and it could get nippy at night. Well he didn’t let their skepticism bother him any he was determined to find gold perhaps a lost engagement ring, or some washed up on the shore from an old sunken Spanish galleon. Things didn’t go exactly as planned, but he did pick up on the buckle of a suitcase filled with cold hard cash, probably the result of some illicit transaction gone wrong. Not only did he strike it rich like he said he would, he also solved his no blanket problem.

As for top right I’m afraid I must respectfully disagree, to me that will always me Beeru-sama! The God of destruction of the seventh dragon ball universe, unconcerned with petty material thins and much less money, but appreciative of the offering none the less, because he could always convert it into tasty novel treats for himself and his attendant Whis.

Beerus could appreciate that perhaps the stranger was trying to ingratiate himself by starting a conversation on a point they could both relate to, but as far as he was concerned he started on the wrong foot, he was certain that there was no one in the multiverse could understand his woes with Champa.

You know maybe I look to much into this, maybe I want to see more virtue in Champa and Beerus then there actually is, but I feel as if this is Champa’s special way of say just that...It’s just that both of them have forgotten how to communicate with their brother outside of using insults and taunts.
