Lady Edathin was unlike every lady that had come before her. While her three sisters worked on art, music, and manners. She spent her formative years on strategy and the art of sword fighting. Her father, Lord William Godwin, was an unorthodox man when it came to his daughters. His three most beautiful daughters were prepared to be married off to maintain their regal status as Ladies. His second daughter was conditioned for a different lifestyle. She was trained as a knight. Her high class status hid her in plain sight.

When a man and his wife were murdered in their own home, Eda was sent to protect their only son, Lord Celric of Baidor. The man who just happened to be betrothed to her sister.

What will Eda do when after four years in his service two men are sent to kill Lord Cellric?
