1. I don't actually believe any of the twisted crap they say about J. K. Rowling to demonise her, because I actually read and listen to her and what she says out of her own mouth/writing, and have read her books and have seen first-hand how much lying and manipulating about her words they've said.

2. I don't actually believe that there is any excuse to ever going after ANY person with the amount of vile hatred, horrid lies, active hunt, demonisation, harassment and utter bullying that J. K. Rowling has suffered, including death threats to her and her family. I don't believe there's ever an excuse to be such demon towards ANYONE, under ANY circumstances, let alone claiming human rights and saying she's worse. No. She, and everyone, have the SAME human rights, and nobody deserves that treatment, let alone while nobody actually dares to take her to court and prove she's actually done anything wrong, because they know she hasn't, and they'd lose. If you want to go against someone, you do it in court. If you behave like an absolute monster, you're nobody to ask for any respect or human rights, and you're nobody to give anyone any lessons on morality, kindness, and humanity.

3. If you think there is any excuse to go after anyone like that, let alone a WOMAN, who's at the heart of it all fighting for women's rights and safety (and your hatred only proves how much more needed that is than we ever thought), then you're simply the worst there is in humanity, one of the absolutely most despicable kinds of person, a woman-hunter, and someone who wants to see women, specially lone women, being surrounded, harassed, threatened and tortured. Reading the things you wish upon her and others, I have no respect nor compassion towards you. Not her, but you, are actual criminals and should be in prison, and what you are doing, and your poor excuses, are no way to fight for anyone's rights and ask for empathy, compassion, understanding, or respect for yourself. If human rights are only important when they're yours, you simply don't deserve them.

4. And therefore, if you're this type of person, don't waste your saliva trying to be like "I don't respect anyone who sees Harry Potter, go die" or anything like that because I DON'T TAKE LESSONS FROM YOU. You are the worst there is, I actively hate and despise you, and I couldn't care about your opinion about me in the slightest, because seeing the kind of garbage you are, the more you hate me the better I must be doing at life.

Does anyone remember in 2018 when HBO first started showing the Harry Potter movies, all the HP fans were excited and wondering if a new tv series was going to be announced?

Interesting how people love and look forward to new adaptations unless it's hp, then they want to know what the new adaptation is trying to achieve because we "know where the story goes"

If you're gonna be a hater at least come up with a better argument than that😐 You know damn well it's very normal for books to get multiple adaptations - we are getting a new Pride and Prejudice and I guarantee everybody's going to be seated for it even though the book itself over two hundred years old and has a million adaptations whereas hp only has one😑

Don't get lost in the magic. Be real with yourself!

Let's get right to it. I will not be watching the new Harry Potter series. It is a simple reason why. JK Rowling does not deserve the support. She has taken every opportunity to continue to spew hate towards the trans community.

This is bigger than seeing a series of books getting a more faithful adaptation for long-time fans. In fact, that is a justification to watch the series. In no way do I blame the child actors for any of this. They are playing roles of a lifetime, and I hope they achieve nothing but success. It's just I can't tell my friends and family who are a part of the LBTQ community that I am an ally and then abandon them for a television series.

They deserve my support 365 days a year. This is bigger than art. This is bigger than trying to look past the person and enjoy the art. Warner Bros deliberately chose to hand JK Rowling an executive producer title and not condemn her actions and choices. Essentially, they said go forth and spread hate for the next decade just make us money while doing so. That can't just be left unsaid. These are people JK Rowling is disrespecting every time she logs onto an app. People with everyday lives like myself and everyone else.

So many people will spend so much time justifying why they want to watch this series. I don't hate anyone who does. The world is facing decisions every day. Ones that supercede the choice to watch Harry Potter. One that if JK Rowling had her way would make it harder for trans people to even exist. So please, if this is the show you need to feel good about yourself, watch it. Just remember we don't get to be an ally when we choose. When you find yourself needing an ally or wanting to have someone join your cause, remember you chose Harry Potter over real-life people.
