Get to know my OCs: Fallout OCs

Gabriel "Sentry" Ojeda:

Born into an NCR outpost out west, Gabriel and his brother Jack lost their parents when they were young, leaving them in the care of their parents' commanding officer, Commander Evagria Ojeda. Gabriel was raised in a loving family even without his parents and was trained as a ranger when he reached his early teens. When he was sixteen years old, his adoptive mother's unit got orders to travel to Nevada and Gabriel and his brother joined them. A raid wiped out their encampment one night about three days from their destination, leaving Gabriel as the only survivor (or so he thought). He traveled the wasteland alone, doing his best to survive and follow his adoptive mother's lessons, but as a somewhat naive, impulsive young man, he was attracted to a handsome soldier in Caesar's Legion and ended up joining for the chance to be near him. He lasted about a year before they discovered he was a trans man and beat him, abused him, and left him for dead. He was found by a Raider queen who called herself Courier Boudicca. She and her people accepted him and nursed him back to health. Now Sentry serves as her right hand man, providing inside information he learned while he was with The Legion. He dreams of one day becoming a ghoul.

Jaxson 'Ranger Jack' Ojeda:

Sentry's older brother. His parents' dying wish was for him to look out for little Gabriel and he took that to heart. A talented marksman and sniper from a young age, Jaxson was the pride of his unit and his little brother's role model. When their unit was slaughtered in a night raid, he was left for dead, dumped in a highly radiated area. Now a ghoul calling himself Ranger Jack, Jaxson is searching for his little brother and doing what good he can in the wasteland. He bills himself as a hero out of the old movies and a bringer of justice. He's been known to help travelers in need, especially against Caesar's Legion. He believes the Legion abducted and enslaved his brother because the only news he's heard of Gabriel since he lost him was that he was seen speaking to a Legion soldier.

Jaimie "Queen Boudicca" Serafin

Formerly a courier, Boudicca was captured and enslaved by Caesar's Legion when she was a teenager. She bided her time until one of her assailants got sloppy and accidentally brought a potential weapon within her grasp. She murdered six men and escaped into the wastes. Over the next ten years, she gathered the broken, the lost, and those who needed help and built up her own Raider gang, The Court of Wolves. They stand firmly against The Legion. Other than her dealings with Caesar's Legion, however, Boudicca prefers to be diplomatic, organizing trade agreements and allegiances with other groups across The Wastes. Most notably with an intelligent Supermutant known as The Gladiator and a mysterious woman who ultimately became her wife, Selene The Banshee.

THIS is the scariest scene in the entire show (yes even more than the goddam lab scene from episode 6).

He's not bluffing when he says that he loved Rose, and that's what makes his actions that much more despicable. He is capable of loving and caring for others, yet he demonstrates that he is more than willing to suppress it if it means protecting the interests of the corporation he works for.

What do you think is more terrifying? A person with no compassion or empathy, or a person who IS capable of those things BUT CAN TURN IT OFF AT A MOMENT'S NOTICE?!

I can't imagine how Lucy felt hearing him say that he no longer considered Rose to be part of the family (or even as a person) just because she posed a possible threat to Vault-Tec's plans for total control.

And that's what ultimately separates him from Barb Howard:

Barb wanted to use her position at Vault-Tec to help her family.

Hank wanted to use his family to help his position at Vault-Tec.

i like to think that after owb (if the courier has decided to protect big mt) that they get wind of the institute and help the think tank get in contact with em and they get new synth bodies based off their dna (including mobius; klein punches him once hes in a new body + hilarity ensues) and they go back to work at big mt which is now under the institutes protection and courier probs marries one of the think tank and everyones happy

I really love the complex dynamic between Amicia and Beatrice.

And I have the headcanon that until she was 10 years old it was Beatrice who taught Amicia her hairstyle and how to braid her hair. It was their thing.

Then Hugo was born and all of their mother's attention went to taking care of him and Amicia kept braiding her hair in a way to feel close to her.

Interestingly enough, in Requiem, the Count cutting her hair at the exact moment she is about to lose her mother forever feels very symbolic.
