A plush frilled shark with his plush friend for day 2 of Sharktober! :)
I’m still trying to figure out dynamic posing, but we’ll get there!
Did you know that they’re also known as the lizard shark? They’re roughly 6 1/2 feet long and they have super cool recurved teeth!

Day 25
Thank you, @meowxfs for leaving a drawing suggestion!!! I had a lot of fun drawing these guys since I usually don't draw marine life!

Drawing suggestions always helps me draw more so I'm always very thankful for any suggestions people might leave! (*´▽`*)

Day two of drawing dumb little sharks until I learn how to draw sharks: The thresher shark! I spent more time on this one and I hope it shows! Also if you know how to draw sharks id love feedback! This lil guy uses his tail as a sort of whip in order to bonk their prey. A thresher sharks tail can be up to 3 meters (around 9 feet) long on the common thresher sharks (the biggest ones)! Also did you know that they're also referred to as the fox shark? I think thats pretty neat :)

maybe its time to think about more shark art instead of my singular post of drawing dumb sharks
Sharktober is here!🦈✨
Are you ready for the shark party? I hope to see some fintastic shark artworks!🎨✨
My friend Oliver (Check your amazing art @capi974 ) inspired me with the idea of holding a Sharktober! We created the ideas for the list together, to inspire people to illustrate good content for our dear sharks!🦈✨
Hope you have fun!✨
I hope you like it and can make a lot of creative and positive art from our sharks! Remember to tag your art with the hashtag #Sharktober or #Sharktober2024 so I can see your amazing artwork!

Your mind,,,, incredible
since sharks have the sensory ability to detect electricity I wonder if they would make art with electricity if given the ability to make art. Like you go into a shark art gallery and they got jumbles of wires and electrodes and the plaque says like "portrait of two herrings" because that's how two herrings would appear on a shark's Ampullae of Lorenzini
This is not even modern art or surrealist art to him. This is just a very realistic depiction of two fish. You don't realize it because you can't sense it, like how a blind man wouldn't be able to see a photorealistic painting, or how a deaf man couldn't hear a tape recording of someone talking

Every time I come across a shark with a silly name I think it simply cannot get better and every time I find a shark with a sillier name. What a time to be alive
shark of the day: slender weasel shark, paragaleus randalli
------------------------------------------------------------
not much is known about the slender weasel shark. they grow to be about 50 cm(~1.6 ft) in length. slender weasel sharks are found in the western indian ocean in shallow water near the continental shelf. they feed on small fish and invertebrates.
