The Cycle of Trusteez Projects; Trusteez was born out of many passions pertaining to the relationship between art, design, and nature. It is a compartment of a rigorous creative practice built on myriad inspirations, from the natural to the humorous and bizarre. Artist Benjamin Brockman started Trusteez as a t-shirt company in Minneapolis, reproducing designs from his artwork. He followed an organic pathway indulging in interests and fancies which would eventually serve as a bridge from his primary practice operating under the name The Sacred Trust into a new exploratory space. Through Trusteez, the artist has found a place for study, creation and musing that facilitates smaller works for sale. #inktoberday30 prompts: #catch #loteria - I saw a video recently of a mantis systematically devouring a lizard 9 times it’s own size - a swift reversal of fortune in which the prey became the predator. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since. They are familiar visitors in our new back yard and I always treat them with a certain reverence.
